There were two S4s, and a S4 vert. Pretty rough shape, but surprisingly all still had the engines in them. Even the FB's had there engines and trans. It looked like all the FCs trannies were gone. Weird?

well i finally got the new rear end apart. One axle was STUCK, but no worries, i got the chunk out and looked it over and it looks to be in good shape. I degreased it and pout POR 15 on it to coat the little rust that was left after wire brushing it. I hope to get my old one out tomorrow and if i have time get that one back in.

Hey I got your text. I don't have any transmissions here (yet) but I can ask around if you would like.

Sorry to hear about the thing dying on ya, especially if you had to drive up there. I used AAA once, I never had it but a friend did and he called in, said my car was his, and he towed it to my place. No card/sticker or anything. I think you just got an ******* or something?

well guys i got my rear end tore apart. It looks like it has a slight bit of wear. Its a little shinier then it was but its not destroyed. There is a ton more backlash then the one sam and i pulled saturday so. The 83' one is going in tomorrow, along with the drive shaft.

I got one from Josh(not Long) Putting it in tonight, just starting on it. Thanks Josh, It dry shifts thru all the gears so that is already better than ours. I believe the 3/4 shift fork has come loose from the shaft( the roll pin broke/fell out) As it happened at a stop with the clutch in stick in N. So I don't "think" it is a major repair. It is just deep in the heart of the beast and I need to make a few tools to get some things apart.

Kory, I would have to see it first as to what repairs need to be done send me some pics or a PM with a desrciption of what's needed.

Don't know about the turbo. But the boost controller shouldn't really make a difference between electric and manual per se. How much boost are you trying to run? 10 is probably too high on stock injectors and fuel pump...

Something I built for sophomore design on a CAD system. You would not believe how complicated these engines are to design. I'll be building it this summer with my professors... Stands about 2 inches tall and will run off of compressed air, lol.. should be fun

If you can pull the door panel off you can reach up and grab the rod that controls the latch and pop it open by pushing down on the rod i believe. If down doesn't work , try up That rod may have popped out of its clamp is what it sounds like to me. I have a door handle here we can scavenge for parts if need be.
