Well, I haven't heard anything from Dave, so I don't know what he is wanting to do. We just need to have a plan before Sunday. After all that hard work Long, you better have the vert done. I can't wait to hear the vert singing the sweet brap song

 

i'm pretty sure i'll be free tomorrow, give me a call if you need/want help, i can hold a flashlight if nothing else lol, it'd give me something to do. i tried calling you earlier, buddy decided to sell that s5 after all (89, don't know model), didn't know if you might still be interested, i could get some pics tomorrow or you can come look at it if you want to. anyone else that may be interested let me know.

engine has a broken oil ring (smokey has nothing on this car), interior needs clean up and some missing parts, he's looking for the keys but it needs a ignition cylinder because he broke it. probably needs a new clutch, has a first gen tranny with s5 tail. mx3 seats, look somewhat like fd seats. it's been sitting for a long time.

he wants to hear some offers, no trades, he needs money. i can get pictures if interested.

So, finally did a little pull with my roommates 99 mustang GT. he's been talkin crap for 2 years now how he could beat my rx7 so we went cruising tonight and just to add insult to injury I ran on a little more than 5psi compared to my usual 12. We started at about 35 mph and after getting full boost when I brake boosted he took off. Top of 2nd gear he was at my side view mirror I hit third and walked him like he was a civic, shut down at about 70 just so I didn't hurt his pride too much because it was clear the race was over...

oh ya, his excuse was he shifted too early BUT when I hit my brakes to slow down his car suddenly kicked in....mm hmmmm...

Sweet flameage Anthony! Nothing like throwing some flames in the face of the enemy! So, are we cool with meeting at the BK and going the route I sugessted? I have finally talked Beverly in to going with me this time. It's a freekin miracle. I haven't heard much from the rest of the crew on what we should do, so this was just my suggestion.

 

Time to start working on the vert some more. Should be running to day!!!

Hey Long i'm really intrested how that vert comes out. Maybe the next meet i can check it out b4 I go Street port. I would love to see how it drives. If i like it i will def go bridge. Cool

 

Once you go bridge, you will never want to go back. I miss the bridge that was in my SA so bad I can't stand it. That's why I'm putting together another bridgie for the FB. Only this time it will be a TII bridge with a HTO4E on the side Should easily put me well over the 400rwhp mark. I just don't know if the ol' FB can handle it. I guess we'll see!

 

Finally got a copy of the photos Sammy D took when we were at the lake. I went ahead and uploaded them to Phototbucket. If anyone wants to make a copy from there, that's fine. I went to fix a leak on the FC windshield, That turned into finding a hole rotted thru the mounting lip of the roog/winshield, That turned into removing the shield to repair the metal, that was going good until the last corner of the molding for the shield, then...click!! and the spiders came quickly Oh well, new windshield should be in on Monday hopefully.. and with no more leaking when it rains

 

The Vert RUNS GREAT!! And I will be driving it sunday, well it still needs so work and tuning but it will be there SIX PORT BRIDGE
