I am not too sure of a meeting spot. Hey Dave, want to make it exit 2 again?

Last time we rolled down there we somewhat met off of exit 2 on I85, right BEFORE you cross into SC.

Exit 2 in NC sounds good to me. Just let me know. I'll have a better time frame for myself leaving after tonight. trying to iron out some court scheduling, and client meetings.

Thanks for the a/c system DJ.. hopefully it works as needed. I believe it will..enjoy the new found room inside your enginebay with no more smog or a/c stuff in there

So who all is coming to the BK this Sunday for our monthly meet? I'll be bringing the SE out. I fixed the fuel gauge and found another loose ground in the engine bay. Voltage gauge is staying right at 13 volts now. I put about 50 miles on the SE today. I can't believe how good this car rides and drives. Now that I have the fuel gauge working, I'm not so scared to drive it longer distances. Now that the car is becoming more reliable, I think I'm going to start getting it ready for paint

What year is the Z? I love those!! Does it run? I have a line on a running one for 300, What is the time frame before it is scraped or crushed etc..? How are the rocker panels at the rear of the door area? They rust really badly on all Z's And lastly, where is it?

I found a Z boneyard on HWY 64 going south from I 40 towards Rutherfordton. Had to be at least 25-30 z's just sitting in a lot on the side of th eroad. Awsome!!

That whale tale is the absolute ****!!!

I would bypass the clutch switch like we talked about first to see if that is the sticky switch. If So either replace or leave it jumped, just be careful not to have it in gear. If that is not the issue, you can get a push button start and I can wire that in and see if that helps. If it is the IGN switch internals( shouldn't be cause you said it is brand new right?) Then the push start should fix the issue. It also could be the solenoid itself on the starter motor. If it is the original starter it has been thru hell and back a few times since it's birth.

ummm....i want that. if I'm correct, and I usually am, that would be a 1974 260z. independent rear suspension, e31 head (same as used on 1970 240z road race cars) 4 wheel disk brakes, twin webber side draft carbs, I think it is a 4 speed car, .....rare car....

The Z is in Mocksville at a friends house. He has a used car lot side business. I think its a '77. One of the first year fuel injected. He says the car runs, but not well. He thought the ECU was bad and put another one in it. It didn't fix the problem. The car didn't look like a rust bucket, but I didn't feel like crawling around under it to investigate futher where it was sitting. The car would make a killer tribute to old school muscle.

Hey guys, wanted to make see if any of you would be interested in this. My church in Statesville is having a Family Fun Festival next month for the community and I am trying to organize a auto show to go along with it. I will post a flyer on here when it is finished. It will be $15 preregister and $20 day of which includes hot dog lunch, door prizes, and people choice award per category. I am trying to get as much response as possible. It is going to be cars, trucks, bikes, and tractors. Hope some of you will be interested. I will post the flyer which will have the preregister email address. Just keep it in the back of your minds, Sept 19th 10am-2pm

thanks Robby
