seems like an awfull lot of trouble to go thru for Ocharley's to create a story like that instead of just asking us to leave. And I haven't met a business yet in the current times that will turn money away, speacially since they were never full by any means while we were there..just sayin.. I always spent at least 25 bucks with food and beer and tips. That pretty much covers the tables we used for the 45 minutes in there. And loud.. It's not exactly fine dining

I think a new permanent base is needed for regularity sake..( i must be getting old worrying about regularity) I am game for all the other ideas but for the sake of knowing that there is going to be a place to meet up something like we had is best IMO. Again, I am all for doing something different each time, but I don't want to rely or others to rely upon me to garuntee a meet.

Yeah, I am 90% sure I will be going to the auto-x and be in it. I don't care if I win or lose, I am in it for the fun. Feb 15th, Carowinds, $35 for non SCCA members.

Lol, I love me engines. I just got all my other parts up here, but I have a few Irons and rotors from 12a's that I couldn't fit in the truck. I will do some digging and see what I can find for ya Dave. Same with you RotaryPicha (sorry man, I am SO bad with names!).

I want to tear it down and see what I got... Maybe later today or tomorrow

Well I got the TII halfway open. I couldn't get the front Eshaft bolt out, so the rear iron and housing/rotor are all off. It is a Mazda reman, and all the soft seals came off intact! Has 3rd gen springs in it and these whimpy 2mm "apex seals", if you call them that. Remind me of paper clips. 3mm FTW!

Also, is it alright to use a brass brush wire wheel on the inside of the housing, but very lightly? I got a lot of black on it but it looks great otherwise. Can't wait to get the front pulley bolt off.

You can bring it over here if you like and get the bolt off. Also I have the steel wool needed to remove the carbon and glaze from the housing and NOT scratch it. I would not use the wire wheel/brush. scotch brite pads work well as well. or a scrubbing sponge from josh's kitchen. Don't put t back though!!!

WELL GOOD NEWS EVERYONE

Looks like Josh and I have a project on our hands! A neighbor wants to buy the track car, and will pay to get it in running shape and on the road.
