Well money talks. I guess the thought has crossed my mind here of late, due to the fact i'm going to school and can't afford to drive the car hard occasionally and risk breaking something or blowing a motor. There is just no way I can afford a motor while i'm in school. I have all the receipts for everything i've done, which just for the mods on the car now (not including 1 blown motor, a couple clutches, a few other misc broken items) comes out to a little over 13k in mods. I bought the car for 19k 3 years ago, bone stock, with a new motor, turbo's, tranny, paintjob, the works.... and have about 38-39k invested. So for me to sell it, i'd have to have a pretty high offer to justify throwing away that kind of money. 15k-20k just doesn't cut it, i'd let the car sit motorless and drive a moped till I could afford to get it running.

 

wow, no one has posted in awhile. hows evry1's car doing. Chris was parked at work, and sum1 was turning around, and hit right behind the passenger side door. It messed up rigth behind the door, inside the door jam, over the wheel , and behind the wheel. and since they cant match the paint, he's gunna get tha whole car painted 4 free. he's workin on gettin tha alternator fixed with this weeks paycheck. thats the whole car update. oh yeah, Dan did u call tha other day, tha caller id said dan marret called, and I dont know your last name. ok ttyl.

 

Cool a free paint job!! I would imagine it would be hard to match paint on a tri colored vehicle.

LOL, I would, but chris isnt as ghetto as me. if he doesnt get in that tornado silver metallic, then he'll get it that light blueish silver like on the miatas. thats a stock mazda color, so he could get it if he wants.

I've been trying to get an OBX cruise set up, but no one seems to want to take it on. I will probably set it up myself after I get back, when I actually know what my schedule is going to look like. Probably good to have it, as you suggested, the third weekend in July. I think most people will need a firm date before they can say yes to it.

My car is still a junker, and at my parents house. Hope to get it home soon, a friend of mine is a mechanic so we'll get to working on it soon.

In case no one has noticed, my car is for sale. And it really blows cause I don't want to sell it, but its in my best interest right now. Priorities...... If you guys know anyone around that might be interested send them my way. I'll be out of WilmyWood in a week and a half. Price is 25k and its pretty firm. I have just about all the receipts, total mods comes out over 15k and that doesn't include labor. All new interior, good paint, good motor, blah blah blah, and big turbo. Just ask Chris, he knows its fast, hehe.

 

I will definetly vouch for the fast part...lol. So fast that it made me say screw building an NA engine, and I very well may have a Turbo engine on the way. Maybe I can talk my parents into letting me get a 25 thousand dollar loan

oh yeah, chris doesnt get a free paint job, but they are sending him a check for 713 to fix his car, and he took it to get the estimate at northside, and it was like 150$ cheaper, so he's gettin xtra money, so thats cool

Yeah its not easy selling the car. I will defenitly have another 7 in the future, who knows maybe a 4th gen. I'll be keeping in touch with everyone around here i'm sure. Right now looks like i'll be getting another mini, possible a mini truck. I have to have something cool to ease the pain

 

We are having one meet in Hickory on Sat June 28th. Lots of cars and I have all the info posted up in this sectoin. As for people in the eastern part of the state I think a meet is going to try and be organized for the middle of July.

 

I've never seen a mini truck, where are u gunna get one??
