Things are going good for me. I sold the rx7, bought that austin pickup truck (which is being delivered next week) and a 91 Rustang 5.0 as the beater car. All I do is go to school and fly planes. The "speed" of the rx7 kinda lost its luster once I started doing steep turns, stalls, and spins in a plane. I'll post up some pix of the truck once I get it here....plus I have rims on the way for it too.

I drive a total of 9 miles a day, and bought the mustang for $1750 with 84k miles on it. Its very mechanically sound, but was in an accident and has a salvage title, which I couldn't care less about since I just use it as basic transportation. You should see some of the heaps of junk driving around out here anyways. It has about 5 different colors on it from new body panels and a rust hood, which is kinda funny looking. Has a good bit of torque which is fun to play with though. Its fast till about 40mph then its a big boat.
Flying is like the rx7 times 10. There is just so much to control and keep track of, its very rewarding. Plus I can do any crazy menauver I want within the envelope of the plane and not worrry about cops. Its almost like driving a roller coaster in some instances. Good stuff.

The truck will have 12x5's, opposed to the 10x4.5's on it now. My car has 13x7's, but has sportpack flares to keep the wheels flush.

The mini's are more for weekends and Friday afternoons, as well as car shows. The Stang will get to sit in the school parking lot all day, while the mini's get the shaded covered parking here at the apartments.

how hard is it to find parts for those things? i mean, can you run to any standard parts store and get them?

A few parts can be found locally. I have parts suppliers in GB that can get anything I need over here quickly and cheap. I had to replace a throttle cable on my car and it was 20 bucks after shipping and got here in a week. They aren't expensive cars to maintain even if things really go wrong.

I think the truck bed makes it a half or maybe a foot longer.

Keep in mind that there were over 3 million mini's produced overseas from 59-2000. So finding parts is easy.
