Hey man, nothin wrong with the good ol' NA's. Just get full exhaust and intake and you'll whoop up on most NA honda's and the such. I love my NA...except for her many problems(i.d. Dieing alternator, leaking clutch fluid system...cant find leak., etc etc)

Dan's car is immaculate, very clean, and done right too. It ain't slow either

Hey dan, is that FD in the pictures with your Mini the one that lives at that bright colored house at Wrighstville Beach? It's a nice looking car as well.

So when's the next meet fellas?

Chris

Yeah thats the one from Wrightsville beach, Todd and I work together. He's getting ready to go single turbo after the first of the year. I was thinking about selling him my turbo and going with something a little bigger, but I will probably hold off for now.

Dan, I see Todd's car over here parked at a house at the end of my street alot. Is it his parents house or something? Ask him if he ever got a note on his car saying "The RX-7 club knows about you." -that note of course being identical to the one I left on your car

George...dude...long time no talk. How ya been? how are the two horsepower monsters? How's Emily? well...g2g catch some sleep, just got home from Veronica's cheerleading competition (cheerleading rules )

night y'all- Chris

I just found this site today. I recently moved to the Emerald Isle, Jacksonville NC Area and am currently looking for a good Rx-7 Mechanic. Does anyone know of any in this region of NC?

Did you guys ever have the fall get-together?

Brian at Rotorsports racing in Kannopolis for major work (blown motors and dyno time), Frank at Porters Neck Tire and Auto in Wilmington for anything else, he would probably do a rebuilt also, since he did rebuild my motor for me.

I wonder who's car is faster, Dan's or George's. They're both impressive. Very Impressive. I've got the fastest NA in this thread...I want to see the battle of the turbo's

Chris

but in all seriousness, it is all good to take it to a shop to get it done, but in everyone;s opinion in this thread, you would be better off at least trying to figure it out on your own first

Sam,
We are usually serious, nothing wrong with some fun. Since you in Emerald Isle, closest place will be Clean and Fast in Raleigh. Yeah we had our meet, only 3 of us were there.

yes, He definetly is the biggest post-*****.

And I was being serious, at least TRY to do it yourself first, unless it is just a totally overwhelming project. It's amazing what you can do with basic handtools and mechanical knowledge, as long as you've got good detailed instructions. Get either a Hayne's manual for your car, or you can download the full factory manual offline somewhere (not exactly sure, if you did a search you'd find it). You being in Emerald Isle...Fast and Clean would probably would be the closest all rotary shop. I'm thinking I've heard of a shop in Jacksonville, but I don't know if it actually exists. But honestly, try to learn the car as best as you can, this forum is a great learning tool (especcially the generation specific forums), so use it wisely.
