cheap manifolds dont have a wastegate port on each of the exhaust ports... just one so the wastegate has to be MUCH larger... so support thw flow of both ports ...

just get something that is known to work and not the cheap way out.

As for seats go i've been looking closely at a set of Sparco Torino 2 Street Seats
when I do the emissions destruction i would love some help, ( as long as food and beer count as payment for help)
The sanding and painting of the car is really easy stuff ( mostly cus i have lot of exp doing that kind of work)2 days work at top

I think a 40 should do it... but make sure the intake and exit of the wastegate is 40mm... HKS i think is only 35mm exhaust and 40mm intake.. which makes it flow like a 35mm not a 40mm

I bought a Tial 46mm and found out i cant put it in... on this manifold

The good the bad and the ugly describes my weekend

blaa ok so i started to sand with 400 grit, after just a bit i gave up rough sanded with 220
then did a rough paint job, painting outside sucks,
bugs, dust, i'm not going to lie its ugly , tho it is one color now

on a good note talked with a friend of mine and looks like i will have a shop to do my work in, just have to work out the fine details of it
its set up with normal stuff welder, most tools, generator
so if all goes well after i remove my emissions i will be redoing the paint on my car in a actual shop
and ya My5ABaby we can work some thing out, just give me a call (865)936-0050 anytime after 4 on the weekdays and anytime on the weekend

Ericthered what did you spray your car with ? cans or gravity gun? I should be putting the finish coats on next weekend if you want to come around and catch some pointers ..

Painting outside really does suck. Wind, dust, and bugs can ruin your paint job. Was 400 grit the finest paper you used? I think that might be your problem. Wetsanding with 1000 or finer between the primer, base, and clear application is essential to getting it to lay smooth (learned the hard way). Basically, if your primer is rough, your clearcoat is going to be rough. I ended up with deep pitting on most of my TII. If you layed your clearcoat thick enough, you might be able to wetsand it and polish it out.

I hear ya, I said the same thing when I finished my TII. "It's rough as hell, but it's all one color!" Unfortunately that one color was purple...
