Yeah it had wheels, I don't remember what color. If you have S4 taillights painted to match the car then it was you. I've seen several RX-7's at that intersection... I think it might be haunted.

Well.. Tire shine plus turning left hard equals massive curb rash. It's ugly too.. so if anyone has an extra vert wheel.. I'd like to grab it. Needless to say I'm not putting tire shine on my tires again, atleast not for a while.

I did.. and it is.. My guess is the tire rolled over just enough to help it slide.. because all four tires were sliding.. and the corner isn't uncommon to me.. I've taken it much harder. My guess is lack of powersteering helped put the car there.. Oh well.. I just made the vert wheels even lighter!

Good deal, Derrick! I might be up for said dragon run, I dunno. We need to have us a meet! It's been too long.

I passed a silver TII coming home from work on Western Saturday. Looked nice and unfamiliar... the owner was outside it on his phone so I gave him a rev. I figure someone was trying to get down to Savannah and got Knoxville'd.

Hey guys. Hows life in Knoxvegas? I am going to be in the area at the end of the month if you guys are having a meet. Also if you see a black 91 vert, well I just got that one too. I dont think my family will give it back to me, but at least I will always have a 7 to drive when I take leave!

Car runs great, still tuning and tweaking fuel settings on the safc-II, but it runs strong and no hiccups yet.

And yesh, I demand a meet/run up US129, aka Dragon >.> this upcoming saturday, i must christen the NA properly.

no powersteering means instant death for me.. also I have no brakes. Hopefully I can get my brakes on tomorrow and maybe even get the exhaust on.. I'm just going to bit the bullet and pay 300$ for someone to do it I guess.. hopefully they won't break the 5th/6th port guys. I'm just tired of having spent the money for an exhaust that I can't even use.

An exhaust isn't particularly hard to get on. The RB header has 4 bolts that are pretty easy to access. The rest pretty much just involves stretching the annoying donuts far enough to be usable. If you're talking about $300 for putting the exhaust on... hell I'd do that.

there is a mazda gathering on Asheville, NC on July 21st. I am helping to establish the route we shall take on our drive in the mountains, most likely it will include a few parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway and one or two other "local" roads.

Meeting time and place are still being worked out. Hopefully we will have them set out by this Friday, I will post a follow up when we have all the details.

What all is rusted into place? The exhaust manifold could be fun to get off. Everything else should be pretty easy. It's pretty much just held up by donuts IIRC.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, just trying to save you some money.

Well in that case... hacksaw and hammer! They will work well to get things apart. If you had a welder, that would be even better.

Makes more sense now if he's needing to keep the cats.

Not I. I'll be pretty out of it due to getting the wisdom teeth out.

We should have a meet next weekend... Saturday the 21st. It's been too long. I can almost promise cupcakes or something equally delicious (other than spamwiches). Hope everyone can make it, including foreign devils. Shall we meet at Circuit City again?

No dragon for me... the TII is my daily driver until the Cheeto gets a new fuel pump and it's sporting borrowed tags.

As for exhaust, I'm bitter. I tried to remove my cats a month or two ago and after a dozen doses of Liquid Wrench over the course of 2 days and 15 minutes with an impact wrench, I had one bolt broken and another rusted firmly in place. Hurray for even more exhaust leaks. The TII is the king of broken bolts... it was an outdoor pet for a few years after its previous owner joined the military.
