I was driving the 88 vert with the 36grited hood. was basically the last one in line when we came down from the dam i was low on gas and after the slow drive i headed out, When i left i think i scared some poor motorcyclist he passed me thinking i was going to go on slow but at 120 i caught up to him and he seemed a little surprised by it..like he expected the rx-7's to be slow

I have bad news peeps....mighta fragged the turbo saturday as well... Shes seeing 6psi only...no creep in sight when it did creep upwards of 10psi. She bogs/stutters at the same rpm's in every gear and the wastegate bov doesnt sound teh same... will be checking it later tonight/tomorrow.

 

just the turbo? if so maybe you can put the new bigger one you have to use!

 

Yeah i was thinking that Eric...but... i still need a new manifold, 3in exhaust plus tip, fmic and piping, wastegate and bov, plus 720cc injectors and a boost controller...

 

Nah Derrick, you don't need exhaust if you've got a good wastegate and boost controller. This is East TN! Just get a pipe to direct the flames out from under your car.

 

Jimi, for as much as I want to do that... I dun wanna attract any more attention from the local popo. Me thinks my T2 is noticed enough, id rather kinda tone it down and get it done before i get a huge ticket.
