I have to wake up at 3 Saturday morning to report to denso for work
then if i can some how manage to get it done fast enough,
I might make it, its a lot of stuff for me to have to do
Getting to the dragon should be easy from what i can tell.
but, i may not get a chance to get down there till after 12
i was more wanting to meet up with the local rx-7 people
due to how little i know about the cars i want to learn more
and then theres cost....^_^ i've been driving a lot lately..
(70 dallors in gas gone in a week and a half)

Lol Eric...i burned up an average of 70 a week just going to work...and a full tank of fuel whenever its meet weekend so i understand ya there. But yeah, dragon is easy to get to and im sure well all be there long into the afternoon, last time me and jeremy went we got back around 4 or 6...i forget which.
i might do the maryville meet at 8.30, but it depends on when i get in town friday night, if i get in late then it will be the circuit city at 10.30. or even then i might just head on up. sorry to be so wishy washy, but getting up at 4.30 working for 10 hours then driving for 10 or 12 makes it hard. trying to convince my chief to let me go early, but its the navy and its a friday. so that doesn't go over to well!
yeah, NA's in general run freakishly rich, though im not one to say anything with my 13-15 mpg T2, though I did tune my NA to 23mpg once. Add on a SAFC, new plugs, new o2 sensor and youve started to gain mpg back. Though I saw a bit more mpg after i added the header and presilencer.

I won't be up there, I don't have the gas. Eric, if you're getting a strong fuel smell from the engine bay after driving, my advice is to quit driving the car. You may have a leaky pulsation dampener on the fuel rail which could (and eventually will if not replaced) lead to an engine fire. Just ask BrilloFC why he doesn't have a running FC anymore
I had to deal with it myself too, luckily I fixed it before it caused a disaster.

Bah, Rod Run my butt >.> just means more 3rd gear pulls on the way to circuit city and some indy like lane changing.
Well, good news is didnt get a ticket for a lack of mirror, car ran good all day long, but the bad news is i may have to replace my blower motor for the heater...damn thing isnt working 100% anymore >.<

Eric the only thing you have to check is the pulsation dampener, on an NA its easily spotted on the primar rail, as its near the OMP rod. See if the plastic cap is off/loose and check to see if the screw is still in the devise...if not, time for a new PD or the banjo bolt mod >.>
Is it discolored or smell of fuel? you may also just have a bad exhaust leak and running rich via the NA's tendancies, however its still good to check over all the lines as well as the injector grommets and O-rings.
going by the haynes book my fuel injectors are suppose to have a resistance of 1.5 to 3 ohms, but useing 2 different multi meters it only reads anything for about half a second, then goes to no resistance, so i'm not sure thats a problem, but i had been planing on replacing my fuel rail and injectors anyway so no biggy there (i've only checked the secondary ones)
and i didnt notice any fuel smell seems to be the right color to so i'm assuming my pulsation dampener is ok

YEAH I smelled a little gas in the t2 enginebay yesterday I got home drove it aroun the block and pop the hood and got a good wiff . I did also one time
before maybe u can help me look it over jimi ? or derrick tommorro .. We could meet up at my house for a little pre dragon gathering ?? and tune hint hint
Just got back from the Dragon^_^ That was fun.
so there is something really funny with my car,
when checking the pulsation dampener on my car i also unpluged the fuel injectors
and checked the rsistance on them, and after pluging it all back in and takeing it for a drive
it seems to have a lot more power, and i dont smell so much gas.

ok, then you prolly had a bad seal at the injectors, and since you pulled the plugs on them you kinda cleaned teh connections so thats a helper. But yeah, the dragon is the fun.
