Oh, I thought you were being sarcastic... I don't think it would start because of the massive vacuum leak, not to mention all the sensors would be missing. It'd be interesting to try though.

What are we doing for DGRR caravan-wise? Meeting up that day and going down as a group or anything?

I'm not even sure if I'm going, or what car I'd go in. Depends on if I have the money for the gas. Nashville is having their own caravan and I suspect they'd drive through Knoxville, along with anyone coming from KY or VA so perhaps we'll have a convergence in Alcoa. That's what we've done the past couple years. Hell, we could all meet at the Mazda dealership and scare the **** out of them

The Nashville Caravan is swinging down through chattanooga. We won't be going through Knoxville.

I have three sets for sale. I have a 15" set off a 88 GXL (machined finish) they need a bit of refinishing and one has a dent in the lip but it does not leak air; the tires have almost 2/10 of an inch of tread on the outside and less than 1/10th on the inside.

I have a 15" set off a 87 sport (factory painted grey). The wheels look great and the tires have a lot of tread but they are obviously old and you can see little cracks in the rubber. One of the tires is flat and I'm not sure why, it was like that when I got it. I would bet it is repairable.

I also have a 16" set of silver 5 spokes off a 2002 Protege. These wheels looked good on my GXL but the offset is +50 so they don't quite fill the wheel well. The tires on these are sized for a protege(195/50/16) and are Z rated but there is almost no tread left on two of them and you can see some belt poking through on the inner side.

You can see pics of all of these wheels as well as some other stuff for sale here:

I cruised past a red S4 TII on the shoulder of I-81 N this morning at about mile marker 2. Don't know who that is but good luck getting your stuff together before DGRR!!!

well compensated what? liability onry.... but ill have pics of it up tomorrow, im too pissed to even look at it more...

get this though.

Blow a ecu comp fuse at 6:15am, nearly get ran over by semi at 6:20am as i check fuses out and wait for a pickup from my grandfather. Get to work at 6:50am. 8:45am i get a call from my grandmother as she passes by the car saying THPD has tagged it with the orange tow sticker...I call my mother at 11am to get her to come get my keys and go pick the damn car up with a truck and tow rope....

I get a call from one of my brothers buddies at 1pm that he passed by a red t2 with some heavy body damage and asked if it was mine... i told em i left mine on the side of I81 before exit 4. so i got to thinking.... Now at 2pm I get a call from my grandmother saying shes got good news and bad news... so yeah i ask for the bad first... they are in the process of doing a police report for my car because something large put a good mark into my left rear.... it gets better... the cop who came to do the report, SAME thpd officer to put the sticker on the car at 7:53AM.... I call my mom a lil bit later and she tells me shell call me when they get the car to the house.

I get said phone call around 3pm, and they proceed to tell me the extent of the damage. I get home at 4:45pmish and have my first look at it. there is literally from a bit before the taillight to an inch into the drivers door, solid black rubber from a tractor trailer... and my drivers side mirror is totally destroyed, even frayed the wiring to the power mirror...

but the fun part... I was nearly hit while standing near the car this morning by a trucker, the car WAS hit by a trucker, and the cop and my mother and grandfather were nearly creamed by a damn trucker ALL WHILE THE CAR WAS PULLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ******* ROAD!!!!!!

OIC.. at first I was thinking.. "liability only, so what? It's the truckers fault!" But, it wasn't just hit by a trucker... it was a hit and run. FABULOUS.

Well.. if you do need a roller, I have a 87 sport that would be an excellent candidate but you'd have to find a way to get it titled.

God damn, what a mess for us lately! Sorry to hear that Derrick. It sucks that no one caught the driver. I hope it at least messed up his cab so maybe his company will have some questions for him. I hate big rigs, I wish our country would go to a system where they have their own separate road. Too many accidents and fatalities caused by those damn road hogs. Maybe we just need an autobahn free of truck traffic.

Derrick, I'm with the Mazfiend, I think you should look into a first gen shell. You'd have a much faster car without any upgrades besides exhaust. Just my two cents. I know if my TII had something like that happen, the Cheeto would be getting some major transplantage.

Damn, that sucks. I guess it would have been better for him just to slam into it. At least then you'd have proof and you'd be compensated.
