East Tennessee Rotary Club
Welcome to the club >.> Seems you and Hellbent are in teh same area, he drives a red s4 vert. We'll be trying to meet up for the run to DGRR this weekend so feel ask questions, in the mean time im out to check more wiring issues.
what kind of power steering problems?
Oh and on a side note, noticed that the ecu fuse also tied into my Efan and the smaller ac fan.... fuse smoked but held without cranking the car over and with the ecu plugged in, stayed working with the efan unplugged but the ecu plugged in...

sounds like you had to much going on the circuit. all those items have high load, high amps. Can you run a seperate fuse for your e-fan? i would try to put that on its own circuit just so you dont blow the other ones.

The black vert emerges, welcome to the club, Eric. I think some of our members have spotted your car before. The Dragon is really easy to get to. If you follow 411 through Maryville (away from the airport) you'll come to a redlight where 129S splits from 411. It's a 2 lane road on the left. There's a gas station right there on that left corner. Then you follow 129S which starts to get a little twisty, and leads you to a nice scenic drive by Chilhowee Lake (I'm guessing that's the name). Once the lake ends and you enter the woods, the fun begins and continues for 11 miles to Deals Gap where the road splits.
I hope you can make it to one of our upcoming meets, if not DGRR. The more people the better.

First rotary, it could be that you have a short somewhere in that circuit know that is causing it to overload, or the wires have worn out. Did you e-fan come with a seperate circuit? if you can look to see what amp load it draws, then see if you have an empty fuse and try to wire it to that. That will cut down the loading on your ecu circuit and keep it from popping. hope this helps.
You really need a separate fuse. I'm assuming you mean it's currently tied in with the 30A fuse. After reading the link below, he suggests a 20A-35A fuse just for the fan itself.

at least youll be getting uber gas mileage chris. But i fixed teh fuse problem... the wires to some no longer installed emission equipment were grounding out against the block. They are now nice and cozy double wrapped inside electrical tape, and taped back to the wireing harness loom. Still no fire, mighta tugged on the injector clips too hard >.<

Meet up in Maryville somewhere?
We can have an early group meet in Maryville and everyone that is coming later can meet at circuit city.
How about at the Hardees that is in the BP across from the new Walmart? Fuel up the cars and bellies and hit the Dragon!

Hopefully I'll be good to go. My rear brakes have been blowing. Weird clunking sound, kind of like someone knocking on wood every .5 seconds.
