and to the guy who said i was being cheap............ ahhhh dude i just spent 2k on my new drift rims, and if your talking the under sized tire on a over sized rim your sadly mistaken, it actually help the proformance, and fitment of my car in drifting. like i had before , the only reason im going up a size in tires is because its easier for the guys to change my tires at events.unlike some of the ******** that are on this forum , that all they do is stick there noses up at people who actually use there cars for the purpose that mazda made them. ( which is driving/racing, in case you fanboys forgot ) i drive my car as hard as possible for the love of the car itself. thanks to illa and nightzone for having my back.

Okay son. Here it goes.
You say-
Because I said-
Spell it right so I know who the **** you're talking about. RETed or REted? They're not the same people. RETed builds RX-7s, REted is short for Retarded, who must be a member of your family.
Last time I checked Enkie and Advan aren't Chinese, nor are they made in China. I believe JUN isn't Chinese either. Mazda, Garret, Racing Beat...The list goes on, and their stuff goes on my car.
Where the **** did you just take this conversation?
I'm thinking the same thing, BUT you're such a ******* retard that I have to respond when you call me out. Since you did call me out, don't cry after I'm done.
I don't live in a back water state like Illinois, they don't have a Walmart anywhere near a major city out here.
I find it funny that all the drift guys want people to post pics of their car. Its even funnier the few times someone responds, like Jayurai, they're even quick to critisize a successful racecar. I can tell you, YOU don't want to see my car Junior. On jack stands my car is faster than your car at a drift event.
Are you even paying attention? Or like all the other drift **** are you just going to repeat yourself until everyone leaves?
When's the last time I NEEDED anything over a 265?
I'm not done yet bitch.
I hate to break it to you, but thats the average price for GOOD wheels, custom or not. Stop ******* crying. Go buy more than one set at a time and then get back to us.
These are all quotes from other drifters
Roen is a track addict like me, he's just a bit more open minded. BUT when you say- and your "fellow" drifters say its no where near racing, or pushing the cars as hard they can be pushed, then some where along the way YOU lost touch. With reality. Big time.

driving technique != racing technique
Drifting also != catching an oversteer. If you break the limits of traction at speed, then you better know how to catch an oversteer, rather than know how to drift. Drifting is the intentional use of oversteer to clear a corner in the showiest and smokiest manner possible, at least that's what the D1GP and Formula D want you to think. Don't get oversteer correction and drifting confused.
Like ----- mentioned before in some other threads, if you start drifting around corners, then you'd have no chance in a race at all.

You do realize that Tsuchiya, the drift king, thinks that driving fast is much harder than sliding around corners, right? I didn't know that trail braking the get the rear loose, unloading the suspension on one side to throw the rear out, or lift-throttle then mash the accelerator to slide, and then keeping the rear out took a lot of skill to do in the first place? I dunno, I always did it naturally, that's why I look down on those who think it's the "cool" thing to do. The only thing I use drifting for is when it either is the fastest way around certain corners or around someone, or when I've accidentally lost the rear and don't want to throw the car right back around to regain grip in order to keep the driving smooth.
How about this:
Do you think you think you can stick as close to us around a racetrack as we can stick as close to you sideways? If you do, why don't you go to your next HPDE track day and see how you do against any of the instructors, or even a blue group/HPDE3 driver?

Need I remind you that you did say...
Why the **** would anyone want to swap to a motor that is...
...smaller???
...makes less power???
...crappier internals???
If this is all about "being different", then go for it.
We DID answer the part about "how hard would it be", and give us this snobby attitude cause you don't like the answers?

dude your a total douche . take your head out of your *** . thats fine if you dont like drifting , who the hell cares! your basically saying that drifters dont take there cars to the limit which is total bs. if you think im just some punk *** kid your soooooooo wrong. i love time attack and road racing just as much as drifting, hell my plans are to build a time attack fc after im done with this project. i will agree with you that road racing is harder but dont make it sound like drifting is easy, at least at semi pro and pro levels. stop being so closed minded and take your 7 to a drift clinc and at least give it a chance if you havent already. this is why i never post anything on this forum, because making a thread as simple as showing people new rims turns into a hugh fight. if you dont like drifting good, fine, whatever i dont care , but theres no need for any of this bull **** . im not talking about just this thread either. its closed minded, stuck up people like you that give this forum a bad rep. i dont know you , hell you could even be a nice guy that has alot of useful info to help other people out, who knows. instead of bashing someone for something YOU dont like , try saying NOTHING at all?

Lives on the Forum
Right now, I have:
GAB
Advan
Panasport
Work
You call that "cheap POS offbrand wheels"?
People don't care.
I've been running stretched tires for years. My friends have been running stretched tires for longer than some people on this forum have owned cars or had their licenses. It's no problem.
My current tires are 255s on a 9.5" wheel. Not stretched. I don't care. I've put 215s on a 10 before, and still not cared.
I get my tires from the back of tire shops because unlike most of you negative nancys, I actually drive my car. I've gone through 12-15 sets of tires this past season. I'm not gonna be picky about sizes. If it's laying around and has tread on it, I mount it and drive on it. It's just fine.
Oh and while we're at it, let's see photos of your cars. How many events have you been to? How often have you actually done something interesting in your car other than park it and take pictures to post on RX7Club? Never? Then move away from the keyboard.

I don't give a **** about what you run.
If you're going to be stubborn and insist on running it like that, then it's your car.
What I do give a **** about is to tell OTHER to run it like you do.
Ah, brag about your track experience?
That's nice.
That still doesn't make you better than the tire manufacturers that made these tires.
Try again...
