dude, dial8, you are fagot! you have way way WAY TOO MUCH FREE TIME. why dont you go jerk off to star track and leave us normal people be. no one cares if your right or wrong, or gay or straight. just be yourself. say it loud and say it proud, you child molesting **** eater.
Now your trying to recruit people to take pipe from RETed.
Not everyone has the special spot in his heart.
Now you can go sit in your jackstand race car and make
passing noises , while relieving the ******* imflammation.

Nah, you know where you can shove that cookie...

"Drift punks" are the dumbasses who claim stretch hippari is better.
"Drift punks" are the dumbasses who drift in public streets.
No, I do not fit any of the above criteria.
I know where you're coming from, Ted. You're coming from that sweet "I want to start internet fights" angle of things. I know, it's great fun.
You're not even close.
PS, I know a few things. I was Aerospace Engineering at U of A. I was on their FSAE team, and we did quite well in design, and had a damn fast car. I've read milliken milliken all the way through more times than I can count, along with all the carroll smith books. I work at a Porsche race shop. I just don't come off as conceited or a know it all because I know that different people are into different things.
Mentioning anything Porsche is an automatic snob.
So "ASME" should be something you should be quite familiar with?
Like I said, r e l a x.
You've got no clue how I feel or what I'm doing...
If you're the one telling me to relax...I think you're the one that needs to relax...?

cant we all just get along? -rodney king .nice guy, too bad he had to get beaten for people to realize it...... oh well..
i knew as soon as i saw this thread it was gonna go south very fast..lol... i have some loose change so ill throw my .2 in....
stretched tires do help when drifting... and if done very tastefully, can look decent on a car.....
for a car that sees more road time than track time, i disagree with it.......always good to have a street set and a track set , because stretched tires serve NO purpose on city streets (other than stlye, and if thats your style, then more power to ya!)
now my opinion doesnt matter at all, and ill be the first to tell you to do what makes you happy, but unfortuantly, this is the internet, and there are always people with too much time on their hands, and have alot to say about anything that doesnt tickle their fancy!
oh, and just to stay ahead of the heat.... i track my car every month in scca solo2.. and have done some "drifting" as well in it
(video link in siggy)
oh oh oh, almost forgot the picture proof.. since its always needed to be taken seriously

I could see if maybe we were having an intelligent discussion about slip angles and how sidewall shape and stiffness relates to them. I could see if we were talking about where those slip angles sit on the tire's mu curve, and how that relates to handling. Maybe then someone could take this seriously.
Right now I'm seeing a lot of name calling, so I'm gonna go ahead and declare this thread worthless. You guys keep doin it big on the internet.

They have a problem understanding the word "performance" properly.

RETed just talks mad **** on the internet.
Any type of his behavior in real society, he'd get smacked in the mouth.
Notice how he never answers anyones questions , just 12 year old replies
and name calling. I bet he sits home posting crap on RX7club and plays World
of Warcraft
