We hate dumbasses who think they are better than tire engineers that make $100,000+ a year salaries...

It's not hate.

It's just pointing out the facts.

Unless one of these dumbasses produces a mechanical engineering degree in materials, I'll keep on calling them dumbasses.

Do you know what "ASME" stands for?

Ted, I'm not telling anyone to run anything. Run what you like. Run 275s on a 6" wheel. Run with a ***** in your ***. Your lifestyle is all up to you man! Do it how you like!

There's people on this forum into things you're not into. Some dudes like stretched tires, some don't. If I post a picture of my car with a stretched tire, maybe I posted it to get laughs out of those other people who run stretched tires. Maybe I posted it because I think it's unsafe, and I'm advising all to not run it. Maybe I posted it to **** you off. Who knows.

The simple fact is, I KNOW you don't like stretched tires. You've told me. In every thread about stretched tires. It's almost like your daily routine starts with logging onto RX7Club and searching "stretched tire", posting "You'd better not, that's just not safe!" and then going on with your day. It's just old, like you.

If you like running 16" GABs, that's cool. I never post in your threads about tiny wheels and say you're lame. That's your thing. Do whatever you like. Just stop telling us our tires aren't safe. It's all good man, the topic's been covered, and people can at this point make their own decisions. Anyone interested in deciding for themselves can search, and find miles of answers of all sorts, and yelling the loudest does not make what you say true.

So tire manufacturers have a certain preferred setting. Mazda had a preferred setting for boost, too, but you raised that. Should I tell you it's not safe? No, because you're probably aware of the design compromises made.

Just relax.

Funny, it's not in the dictionary...

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hardpark
Oh, now you're one of the "cool" bitches who are above all of us...

Funny, I don't ostricize drifters.
If you can believe it, we're part of the local scene down here - not that illegal ****.

and to the guy who said i was being cheap............ ahhhh dude i just spent 2k on my new drift rims, and if your talking the under sized tire on a over sized rim your sadly mistaken, it actually help the proformance, and fitment of my car in drifting.
Gotta excuse you cause you only know **** from the getto dictionary...
"Performance" usually means faster / quicker.
Does your stretch make the car corner harder? NO.
Does it go through the slalom faster? NO.
Even you can deny it, but wider tires will make the car corner harder and drive through corners and transitions quicker.
THAT'S performance.
What you actually want to say is that the stretch tires is better for your drifting style, period.
It has NOTHING to do with "performance".

like i had before , the only reason im going up a size in tires is because its easier for the guys to change my tires at events.unlike some of the ******** that are on this forum , that all they do is stick there noses up at people who actually use there cars for the purpose that mazda made them. ( which is driving/racing, in case you fanboys forgot ) i drive my car as hard as possible for the love of the car itself. thanks to illa and nightzone for having my back.
Dunno... never had a problem running PROPER sized tires at Laguna Seca, Thunderhill, and Sears Point.
And, before the closed the track down here, we were one of the few FC's drifting our ****.
We were also the ONLY 20B powered FC to drift our track.
We were probably the only 20B powered FC to drift in the entire country...

See, you have a little clue where I'm coming from...
I don't do this on purpose, but I can understand why you think I'm stalking you guys.
I just do this just to **** off the drift punks who think they know what they are talking about.

But you just said you're part of the local drift scene in Hawaii. Aren't you a drift punk? I know where you're coming from, Ted. You're coming from that sweet "I want to start internet fights" angle of things. I know, it's great fun.

PS, I know a few things. I was Aerospace Engineering at U of A. I was on their FSAE team, and we did quite well in design, and had a damn fast car. I've read milliken milliken all the way through more times than I can count, along with all the carroll smith books. I work at a Porsche race shop. I just don't come off as conceited or a know it all because I know that different people are into different things.

Like I said, r e l a x.

My long *** post wasn't directed at you, though I included you at the end. It was more for the benifit of NightZoneDoucheBag, who has said the stupidest **** since he set foot in the thread. Drifting is gay, but I'm not here to argue that, nor I care what tires you run on what size rim. 245s on a 9.5 are my street rims, Advan RS's, but I know better than to stretch my track RPF1s.

Hey stupid ***
I didn't post towards you either, it was towards RE Teddy
I don't care what you do or won't do with your car.
Its your car. Do whatever you feel.

But don't come on here knocking on stretched tires when you don't run them.

Stick with your squared off tires, cool. No one comes on to your thread and ***** on it.

You don't have to come on here and being an ******* to someone who wanted
show his set up with you guys. Everyone negative in this thread is the decline of RX-7 owners.
"Drifters" Okay. So what, they ******* drive their cars to the limit, and they are driving while
your e thugging and being a bully on here. So what now?

Instead of showing support or not saying nothing at all, you post cheap shot replies and expect everyone
will agree with you.

Driving > RX7Club - We built but never raced nor care to.

Driving is supposed to fun, instead everyone on here is a **** throwing monkey.

Do you actually know what you're talking about? When's the last time you've even been inside the gates, let alone set foot on the track? Get out now, before you dig the hole deeper.

Okay! You know how to dig in someones profile, but you can't do anymore research than that? MY CAR IS A PROJECT. IT. DOESN'T. RUN. And asking for pics is the same bitch cop that all drifters seem to cling to. "Show me now, or everyone here knows you don't have one!" Justin Palk(?), Pollack(?), P-stands for I can't drive straight, said the same thing when his "drift" car was threatened by RETed. Grow up, learn to drive, learn to build, learn to TRACK, then when you are no longer a Junior, get back to me.

Hick-AGO HAHAHAHA

Its winter here, no track events right now.
Real race track? Hmm.. Joliet Autobahn, Road America? Gingerman?
Not to mention all the technical small tracks we have in the Midwest.

Around the block? What are you trying to say man.

I barely post on here, for parts and such.

EVERY SINGLE post you make is being close buddies with RETed.

High fivin' every post he makes...

Whats going on dude?

He's on the other side of the ocean and you take in the *** for the dude.

I didn't know you guys were that tight. Literally.

If thats the case. I'll leave you guys and your love affair will never

be questioned by me again.

yes is does help with drifting. you dont get tire roll and helps make transitons smoother....... there for more car control.

I didn't know Chicago counted as the entire midwest. Again you dodged the question, When was the last time you were at a race track with your car? I don't need you to describe winter time to me, it happens in other places too. Son you're so god damn lost, confused, ignorant I don't even know where to begin. FAILED
