#1: We need to get the backing of the forum owner, end of story. Until that happens all efforts are on hold.

Perhaps another forum can be hosted for people who are elected to organize this thing and can be private invite only?

LOL @ toyota, you guys need to go help your grandma get the groceries out of her camry, you 16 year old cousin in his celica change his oil, and change your timing belt on your girlfriends pink MR2.

I think the best idea would be if we're behidn this (we meaning the forum's head honcho and enough people to make it happen) that we decide on a premise right here and now.

I propose whichever team wins, sells BOTH cars and donates the money to the cause of THEIR choice.

The largest reason I see so far that people are getting touchy about is whats going to happen for the winner/loser. Its already been covered that whoever is helping is makign donations, so why not go the full nines? You win, your charity wins. Yuo lose, the winner's charity wins. I'm all for this idea and I think the show would be in for that as well.

I'm going to link this thread in the suggestion section and hopefully during the weekend update, Ryan will enter the discussion.

We have already decided on the 3TC side that if we win the losing car will be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to Charity. What to do with the winning car is still being determined. But we have no bickering about getting compensated about our donations. We're just donating for the "CAUSE".

WHOOPIN YOU ALL!!!!

See you at the track!!!!

I just want to make it clear that I don't give a **** what happens to the cars or who gets "compensated" etc... I was willing to donate from the word go (not all that much but I will help where I can money wise and parts wise). I was bringing up the other thing just to maybe help out people that would like the idea of maybe getting paid back later if we win. But again I really don't give two ***** about winning anything or getting paid back (it's never been about that to me at all!). With that being said "LETS GET IT ON!"

You sure about that

You guys need to get on the ball, someone on the 3TC has already donated their racecar today. They've also already received a ton of donations.

And here I thought the 3TC forum would be the underdogs

There are lots of people on this forum that know what we need and how to do it, and without them, we have nothing.
if you are considering rotaryshack, im about 15 min away from his shop if you need any help with arrangements or what-not

Who would that be ?

I have nothing to give but a donation and a little promotion. So, I suggest someone who's ready to really take charge, take charge ! I also think the person in charge needs to have a hand on the project.
