1-Make sure that Pinks is down for a show.
2-Figure out who is going to build the car. (just because Chris has the skills he may not have the want or time to do it)
3-the people who are footing the bill need to decide on a combo before a dime is spent to save time and arguments.
I suggest a FB, gutted, 6pt cage, 13B carb, N2O, 9" ford. It's cheap and has the potential for a low 10 sec car. We need to be reasonable, all the talk of the 20Bs and turbos need to cease. We need to take into consideration that we might loose this car (not due to lack of power).

I have a friend who's a business partner with Nate. I just had my him send Nate an email.
He pretty much told Nate that we're building 10 flat cars and these car won't be no joke ! He made sure Nate knew that these cars wouldn't be an embarrassment like the previous imports.

You are not planning on staying around? How are we supposed to make fun on you when the www.RX7club.com takes the www.toyota3tc .com car away?!?!?

It should definitely be (12A or 13B) vs. 3T-C.
As for any trolls from either side, if you want this to happen and be serious then don't be a troll. If you want to talk smack keep it to a single thread designated as a smack-talking thread, not the thread where we're starting our initial organization effort.
For everyone: Step one is organization. Choose a go-to guy, have him and the Toyota 3T-C rep talk to Pinks together. Agree on a date and some limit with respect to cost (whether it's a flat ceiling or a donation-per-member cap or some combination). (Also, you should probably leave all visuals [paint is what I'm thinking] out of the budget so both sides can put out some pride.)
As for limits, rules, results, here's my suggestions:
1. Whoever wins the cars must auction them individually and donate all of the gross proceeds to a charity of the winner's choice.
2. I think a max per-member contribution of $250 cash money, $1000 in parts and $5000 (100 hours) of labor. (This limit would not apply to purely visual effects. So paint is "free" but getting rims X at $500 instead of rims Y at $300 even though they're both alloy and 15 lbs. each would still count as a $500 parts donation.)
3. Each side should be allowed one exemption for the cost of all engine components (not including turbo) so one single person or sponsor can put up a full complement of parts needed to build the engine (so we don't need to have six people each shipping a separate part of the housing to the builder).
4. This should definitely be a straight-up run. No hamstringing either side with weight requirements or other artificial limits.
5. And, like I said, smack talking should be kept to a single dedicated thread on each forum. It would not be fair for a flame war to shut down six months and how many thousands of dollars of work.
As for the RX-7 club specific parts:
Step one: Start a thread for people to volunteer as the main representative.
Step two: Run a poll three days later. Top two are the reps. They will be responsible for everything. Suggestion: The reps should designate a treasurer.
Steps three through eight-five: Repeat the volunteer and poll votes for an engine builder, an installer, painter and driver. Engine builder, installer and painter should each select their crew (which in most cases will be the people they work with normally. This is specifically for the installer since the whole putting it all together bit will be more than 100 man-hours, so they'll definitely need more than one man as per the man-hour limit I posted earlier.)
That said, I'll put my money where my mouth is if we complete steps one and two and I trust them.
I've been posting on this site trying to figure out who is the spokesperson for you guys for this reason. Someone contact me. PERTANO@GMAIL.COM.
Or you can PM me here. I'm a former RX-4 owner so I've been around this site a while too.

Seeing that I'm a bit nuts, and also rather generous when I want to be, I'll donate my FB to the cause:
