no i didnt mean towards you, it was for those who have posted about actually getting their money back. and also towards those who dont read the full thread and automatically think they will get thier money back.

Who ever is in charge of organising this should also sell off advertising spots on the car. I'm sure that there is several people on this forum that eather own or run a big company which spends thousands upon thousands of dollars a month on Advertising. Why not spend that money on advertising on a car thats going to be on TV? I'm sure if someone contacted the companys that advertise on this site, they could probubly get a decent amount of money from them to advertise on the car. This way people have the option of donating some money out of their pocket, or spend a bit more and put your name/company on the car.

damn.... ive read about all most all 9 pages.... and i still havent seen anyone come up with a full on plan... this is ridiculous... first off..
1) there is only 1 rule in racing!!! and thats go when its green!!!!
2) its stupid to have 2 ten sec. cars cause its gonna be a tie and thats never any fun when racing.... it only makes sense to build the fastest car you can with the budget you have.... if that means gutting the hell out of a fb, throwing a 13bt or 13b-rewtt with some minor mods and tuning... now thats where its at

Well, did the www.rx7club.com owners said it was ok to use their name?
What ever I donate, I don't need it back; so I am not worried about that.
If we get permission from the board owners, so that we can use the www.rx7club.com name; maybe THEN we should start looking for a pro engine builder\tunner (there are plenty on this board). Once we get that builder (perhaps we can get more than one), that builder should state what he wants to build (engine\turbo\porting wise).

Well to move things forward a bit I created an email and Paypal account for the build, but I wont give them out just yet since nothing is official. Somebody really need to persuade the owner.
