I PM'd the owner fo the forum to get his blessing, and havent recieved a PM back. It was also brought to my attention that you cant run on pinks without a title, so we cant use my car. I was going to orchestrate the building of the car, but its pointless for me to do anything because of the silly title issue (haha).

Or, maybe he just doesn't give a ****. Surprising, because this would definitely boost views of the site, therefore bringing him more in ad revenue.

It is where I live, because they don't title cars more than 10 years old.

You rx7 guys need to get your stuff together, I've already sent my deposit to the toyo guys. I'll send my deposit to the RX7 guys when they pull together and get something going.

You're retarded!!!! so we are allowed to build cars to compete agains each other yet you want a handicap? Wouldn't it have been easier to say: We know the rotary will Pwn us horribly so we are begging you to not go too hardcore with your build. That's like mayweather asking DeLahoya to hit him softly before they enter the ring. I'm not as nice as $110T2 so get the **** out with your *****-***-bitching and go learn to build a car.

well we already have the shell from $100T2. I was going to try to establish a Paypal account but i'm not sure any of you know me or my new SN so I think one of the older trusted members should do it. I honestly 100% trust $100T2 so I'm nominating him.

Let me put it this way to you: Go **** yourself. You don't come over here, join our forum, and start talking **** to everyone. You're putting your car up, so you dictate the terms? Guess what, ************, I'm putting my car up, so the only "dictating" you're going to do is telling me how my dick tastes, m'kay?

This was a great idea and sounded like a lot of fun until you got involved. Take your *** back over to the Toyota forum, and get someone over here who knows how to act like a decent, reasonable human being. I was joking about being a dick, but man, you sure are a ******* jerkoff. Maybe if we win, we'll sell your car and donate the money to buying you a ******* clue.

Now, to the RX-7 members of the thread, there are a couple things we need to address:

A) Forum sponsorship. Ryan doesn't seem to be interested, so there's a couple things we can do. I can start a section on www.rx7classifieds.com to do this, or COsborne at www.theforumlounge.com would probably be more than happy to be involved. The nice thing about TFL is that I'm an admin, so I can at least trim the fat (and the bullshit) from the threads. Personally, I'd go with the TFL route, unless Ryan decides this is something he's 100% behind.

B) Raising finances. I had a nice 4 hour drive tonight during which I came up with the following idea which I wanted to run by you guys:

I will go and buy 1000 raffle tickets. Exactly 1000. For every $25 in cash or parts you donate, you get a raffle ticket. Now, the parts you donate must be required for the build, don't go sending us drum brakes from a Chevelle or something, and the part will be judged for fair market value. I'll donate the full rolling shell of my FB, and I'll say it's worth $500, which is fair market value. Therefore, I'd receive 20 of the 1000 tickets for the drawing. I propose that IF we win, one lucky ticket holder will receive the forum built car. As a consolation prize if we were to lose, one lucky ticket holder would receive any of the left over money from the build. 1000 tickets x $25 is $25,000. I'm sure we could turn a rolling FB shell into a 9 second car for that. Because there are ONLY 1000 tickets, everyone has a damn good chance of winning the car or the money or whatever. It could be some kid in Idaho that only shells out $25, or it could be somebody who donates an $800 turbo. Just so there's no funny business, we can have a BBQ or something where my 3 year old will pull the ticket. Pure luck of the draw, he can't be bribed, and he can't read to be able to pull my name. I think there's enough people here who would step up to the plate to help us build a kick-*** car they might be able to own. You guys wanted to find a way to get something out of this, there it is. IF we win, we can do the same thing with their car: 1000 ticket raffle for it, and the money raised goes to a charity of the forums' choosing.

As far as "major" sponsorships go, I'd like to get one of the big-time performance engine builders here to cut us a good deal on a motor. I honestly don't think there is a single forum sponsor here who can eat a $5k engine, but maybe they can knock some money off. For that, they get their logo painted on the roof of the car or something. We can sell off space like on NASCAR or something. I know classicauto has offered up paint, which is totally bitchin', and I'm sure he will come up with something awesome for us. Provided we do get on the show, it's a ton of free advertising, so what do we have to lose?

3) We need a driver. I don't know about you guys, but I sure as **** ain't driving this car down the track. Who's the most experienced driver on the forum?

4) Committees. We need to form up different groups to start troubleshooting and problem-solving this bitch. Rules, safety, motor, finance, etc.

Anything else?

Oh yeah, the donations should be via check or money order only, because paypal would **** us on fees. Whoever is going to be in charge of finances better have their **** together. If it's me (as someone nominated me for it), that's cool. I think Goofy is pretty local to me and wants to be involved, so we can make it a two signer account so there's no worries from anyone that I'd be taking the kids to Disneyworld or some such ****.

We know the show itself is lame, and the host sucks donkey dick. However, this is a chance to race against our Toyota brethren, get the forum noticed nationally, and have a good time. So the show is gay, big whoop. It is what you make of it, so there you go. Just imagine we're lining up at the drag strip, except there's TV cameras. Personally, I don't want any of this negotiation nonsense, I want 3 even, *****-out runs, let the best car win.

I don't think anyone here is underestimating them... Personally, I'm thinking it's going to be a tough match-up, much tougher than the FC vs. Honda episode they had where the Honda was totally outgunned. I expect the Toyota guys to come with every trick they can think of, and I expect us to do the same. I also wouldn't be surprised if, between the two forums, we have the two fastest cars ever on the show.

I don't know know about you guys, but I'm pretty worried about what they will come up with. I'm a 7 fan, sure, but this "TeH 7 can't lose!!!" **** is for the birds. These guys aren't putting their car together with aluminum foil and bubble gum, and I am honestly looking forward to seeing what they can create. I'm just as anxious to see what this forum can really do.

I haven't read the entire thread but I have FD rolling shell I will sell for $1500 for the car. Like I said, IDK if you have a car already but I offered. PM me if wanted.

BTW, the body is in great shape and for a track car, that all that really matters. I will pull more of the interior out and sell by itself to get the $1500 cheaper, just LMK.

We're a bunch of posers? Really? Because I don't see any of us going over to your forum and acting like ********. I see you coming over here and acting like a jerk, though. I bet the members of your forum wouldn't think as highly of you as they do if they saw these types of displays.

If you can't have even a bit of dignity, then maybe it's best you just say nothing at all. All you're doing is embarassing yourself. It's time to just stop.

No, you told us we were doing it. Again, I have no problem selling the losing car and donating the proceeds to charity. My problem is that you come in and announce it like we must do your bidding. Ever heard of "suggesting" something, especially to your competition?

If you need further clarification on this, let me know, I'll elaborate for you.

Speaking of which, where am I "crying" about it, precisely?

Here's where you TOLD us what we would be doing:

You win, do what you want. We win, we do what we want. We'll trust you to do what's right, why don't you trust us to do what's right, m'kay? I have no problem with donating to a charity, but if it's already going to be determined beforehand, then what's the point of the race? We can race cars and give them away without all this other nonsense, let's leave some things a mystery.
If that's bitching, I can't wait to see your definition of "reasonable".

Again, I have ZERO problem donating money to charity. As a matter of fact, I think my method would actually raise MORE money than just selling the car outright. But don't presume to dictate anything to us. I realize you come over here because your forum has only 10 active members,

and you like to see people respond immediately to your posts, but really, go on back to Toyota land and let us see what we can come up with so we have a good race. I have no doubts you guys can come up with a 10 second or better car, enough of your bullshit posturing, we have work to do.
