Phil, this sucks for you big time. I'm sorry I gave him my UIM cover to copy now. All I did was help him make money... What a jerk!

Herblenny I read the entire thread.
Compare my loss to yours. I know why you are angry. It happened to me once. But don't change your heart about helping people. I never stop just because there are a few bad apples around.
Good luck. Hopefully Jason will step up and be a man. People need to realize we all make bad choices in life but knowing what you did is wrong and still doing it, that I can not forget.

Thanks for understanding sherman2k! Naw, I still try to help out the rotary community.. Thats why I answered your question about the Feed UIM (and organizing DGRR..)

Anyhow, I think what made it worse is that I made a short statement last saturday before leaving town and when I got back Jason Evans had already made several posts calling me a lier and such.. I think thats what made it even worse and got me all pissed off.. I helped this guy and now he's calling me a lier and wanting to sue me?... That just showed bad character about someone..

One thing I realized in my life is that its takes a bigger person to admit they are wrong than admitting they are right.. At least, I say I'm right with some facts.. LOL!

It is not the fact that Phil got screwed. It is the fact that Jason keeps persuing all these bullshit avenues like IRS, Lawyers, Negative posts, pms, etc. etc. And trying to badmouth Phil about something that is totally false! That is why he is gettting upset. And righfully so. The thing is, there are bad apples. But then there are scammers. Jason is a scammer! There is distinct line between people that make mistakes and try to fix them, and people that make mistakes and act like its someone elses falt! Jason is trying to blame the world for his mistakes. He is calling anyone that steps up and points out the obvious a lier, and is threatening a lawer for defamation! He is grasping at straws at this point. He has no ethics or backbone to just say "I'm sorry, what can we do to resolve the situation?" Nobody in the world wants to deal with a person like that!

I was on the fence when this first came out. It just seemed like a complicated transaction went wrong. But wow this dude is for real a crook. Its a shame you have to research the crap out of people b4 you buy anything.

On a similar note Vendors and buyers should try to take notcie. More than one negative feedback that is unresovled and warranted should be enough to change your mind b4 purchasing. It seems some vendors on here don't care about satisfying customers simply because they know already they won't be repeat customers. How many cf UIM's are you going to buy, and body kits ect ect.

Capital is an issue too, these sorry vendors are unwilling to take a loss. ( I like how Sonix went from a free UIM to Phil to a small part to a good discount to 20%) you can see him getting in a hole and instead of producing its excuses. I lose 50$ a day in my business on just random crap I have to deal with to make my customers happy, and I assure they will be repeat ones. This is my thoughts on the scamming and poor work that goes on in here.

Brian thanks for understanding my situation.

You are very right about Sonix7. He is a crook! LOL!

Again, Through out this whole thread, I did nothing but provide facts...

Just to quickily recap for those don't want to read the 100+ posts,

1. Jason Evans offered to do the parts for free and I send him 40+ percentage of my interior parts.

2. He quote 20B 3rd Gen that he will charge $1000 to do ALL his interior pieces

3. I gave him over $1000 worth of parts and recieved less than 30% of the interior overlayed.

4. Parts I recieved are sub par quality level and some parts were out right ruined

5. Jason Evans - sonix7 continues to think he did the parts for Free and calls me a lier

6. Jason Evans - sonix7 sends me tan, painted, below average quality door panels instead of overlayed door panels (originally black). And he himself has 2 sets of tan panels and good possibility that he sold the panels he was suppose to give me to another person.

7. Jason Evans - sonix7 made excuses after excuses to delay doing my parts for over a year. And lied about working on my parts and Lenny's parts when he was in fact building his sub boxes and doing other people's conversions

8. Jason Evans stated that he was going to see a lawyer because he thinks that i'm slandering him.

9. Jason Evans -sonix7 also screwed few other people who finally came out on this thread (Lenny and Sherman2k).

10. Jason Evans - sonix7 now contacting his past customers and trying to raily up support (which his customers are just wasting time as he's feeding them with lies).

11. Jason Evans/sonix7 Used materials I purchased for him to use it on my parts are used on other people.

12. Jason Evans/sonix7 now sits behind his computer and trying to think of a "master plan" to ruin me or trying to think of his next scam to rip others off....w/ his tiny tiny brain. LOL!...

Disclaimer: #1-11 are facts and could be verified thru posts made on this thread..

#12 however can not be verified and its a view of one single person (ME ). AND Should not be taken seriously... BUT. it could very well be true as person so call Jason Evans/sonix7 have clearly provided on this forum that he might be semi retarted, ignorant, "dumb", a "con", a "crook", stupid, and made many many many false claims.

Viewers of this thread should make their own conclusions based on what has been posted! Thank you! And some of you reading this, I'll see you at the April 2007, Deals Gap Rotary Rally!

NAH, he doesn't have to explain. Cuz its going to be a bunch of bullshit excuses! Frankly, we've heard enough of them already, and I don't want to hear any more unless he tries to square this up with Phil and Lenny! That is the most that should come out of his mouth. Just a simple "I'm sorry I fk'd up, what can I do to make this right?"

Only contact he made was back in Feb. 11th, 2007, when he reminded me of definition of slandering..

Here is the email he sent me;

Phil, I would like to remind you of something. Please cease and desist your personal agenda against me over the internet.

In law, defamation is the communication of a statement that makes a false claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may harm the reputation of an individual, business, product, group, government or nation. Most jurisdictions allow legal actions, civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against criticism.

The common law origins of defamation lie in the torts of slander (harmful statement in a transitory form, especially speech) and libel (harmful statement in a fixed medium, especially writing but also a picture, sign, or electronic broadcast), each of which gives a common law right of action.

"Defamation" is the general term used internationally, and is used in this article where it is not necessary to distinguish between "slander" and "libel". Libel and slander both require publication. The fundamental distinction between libel and slander lies solely in the form in which the defamatory matter is published. If the offending material is published in some fleeting form, as by spoken words or sounds, sign language, gestures and the like, then this is slander. If it is published in more durable form, for example in written words, film, compact disc and the like, then it is considered libel.

source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slander_and_libel

Thank you.

Jason Evans
After this, only other contact was via "mediator" (one of the member on the forum) and Jason continued on saying he did things for "FREE" so, I said, if he feels that way, then go ahead and pay for all the stuff I gave him.. since then, ZERO response.. I guess, he finally got it thru his thick head of his that he didn't do any of these for FREE!! LOL!

quotes from his "company's" website

About Carbon Fiber Innovation:

Started by Jason Evans in 2005, we are a very small company consisting of myself and one other person. I first started with fiberglass fabrication in car stereo applications. I then branched out to learn Carbon Fiber and the art of moldless composites. I have been trained and tested in hand lay-up and extensive Vacuum Bagging techniques. I am dedicated to quality and control. My mission is to make the best parts humanly possible at the best possible price. My parts are not perfect, so if perfection is what you want, and if you seek more complex molding, I recommend using a true Carbon Fiber Fabrication shop.
We strive to bring you the best quality composite laminates possible.
For custom parts please contact us. Thank you.

Jason Evans
talk about CYA talk...but even he should have told you to go to a REAL business.

"What if I ordered and I am not satisfied?

I try and satisfy every single customer. I realize you can't please everyone all the time. What I will do is say make sure you know exactly what you are purchasing. I am only human and am not perfect. If the part or work is defective, I will replace it. If you don't like how it looks or were mistaken when you ordered, we will try and work with you to resolve the issue. I reserve the right to not refund money on parts unless in extremely special cases. On that note contact us if you have any questions and/or concerns.
seems like he needs to man up...

How long does it take?

Most parts take anywhere from 7 to 14 business days to complete. Custom pieces often take an unspecified amount of more time to complete. We make them as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.

A) he is calling it a company without having a license to do so

B)Try to cover your a$$ much??

C)He also basically states he doesn't have to refund anything unless he wants to

D) funny how he states he isn't perfect and doesn't make 100% perfect parts but then says he doesn't sacrifice time for quality, so does he make good parts or not?? From all this looks like he makes makes bad parts that take forever, at least he got half of the equation right.
