Jayson it looks likes somone maybe buying the BMW with cash in hand, on the upside I might be interested in some of those wheels.
The Hankooks R compounds are for track and not the supersoft autoX compounds my Hoosiers are they?

Dave,
Awww.
Yeah, the Hankooks are more suited to Road race then Autox. Would work good for both however. I've acutally got three sets (!2) of these Hankooks as well, so if someone is looking to make a race season purchase for tires, I'm the guy to talk too.

Dave,
You can buy the BBS hex wrench on eBay all day long.

I'm told the best 'store' to buy it from in person is the Infiniti dealer. According to this source, they sell the wrench for $12 bucks - all the other OE's want twice that for it.

If asking what application, I know J30's and Q45's came with optional BBS wheels.

I found that one of those rubber strip wrench (sorta like a pipe wrench) works well without stressing the plastic. The actual wrench would be a much more elegant solution though - what can't you find there? I picked up a CD that has every service manual, parts list, and specifications for every 7 ever sent to the states - one day I will have a major print job to do.

Hello!

I can't believe I found some RX-7 enthusiasts in VA! I am brand new to the forum, and can only really interact during some work hours. I have an '85 GSL-SE that I am trying to get on the road. Greatest problem I foresee is that she has sat for about 3 years unstarted. My friend is a retired guilded Mazda mechanic, so much of the tech stuff will be address prior to trying to move it. However, how do you suggest that I get her rolling so that we can build up the compression? It has been a long journey for me, and I am ready to get her back on the road. I also have an "organ donor"-basically a shell with a 13b and transmission that should be picked over before I send it to a *sniff* scrap yard. I live in Fluvanna County between Richmond and Charlottesville. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

damn, if there where only 37.4 hours in a day I could have finished mine and been there. But I have no fuel pump at the moment, slow shipping on walboro's.

Oh well I will be just watching and if it rains sitting in my car watching.

My brand new Mallory fuel pump locked up. It made a terrible whine as I crossed the line on the first run and then shut off. After we pulled it of and rattled it, it worked again. On the second run, it whined and then locked up again about 100 ft from the finish line.

Although I only had two runs, it was a blast to drive! I had a 38 something on the first run and a 39 on the second run with no power around the last few turns.

I'll order another one and see what breaks at the next autoX.

Yah a fuel pump shouldn't breakdown that fast.
I wound up with a 40.486 with my comparitively lightly modded car.
And I sucked in that group of youngster rotorheads - they are totally hoooked on autox now

How does a 14" wheel fit over 5 lug brakes?
