well i already need a new engine i did all the math and rebuilding would cost just as much as getting a new short block, ive been toldd my millions not to drive it . im too stubborn im obsessed with it my Girlfriend broke up with me cuz i paid more attention to my RX then her. i drive this car ALL THE TIME EVERY WHERE and it builds compression. it just has a rough idle. as long as i drive it smooth and not push it, it will last me the summer

if you know you have a blown apex seal, do not drive the car, it is that simple. you have a problen now, if you keep driving it, it will turn into a huge problem. granted its your car, and you can do whatever you want, but if it was my car, i would either park it or get it fixed, and i would have it towed to wherever i got it fixed. i know there fun to drive, but not so much when they are broken.

if you are going to get a whole new short block and you dont care about having a semi decent spare lying around, then drive it all you want. but dont push it because if the seal goes all the way then you might as well kiss the turbo's turbine good bye.

Hey Rick, David is in a lot of pain. He pushed it too much yesterday and now he paying the price. If you are going to stop by, make sure that you call first. I want to make sure that he will be feeling up to it.

The JG/RAL event at NHIS is late August, isn't it? We're still thinking about that one, but if we go, David and I will most likely stay somewhere. It would be good to all be at the same place. Have you started looking in to what the options are?

tell david to feel better and take a load off so he doesn't hurt himself. i think he said he wants to be driving asap and hurting himself will just postpone that.

The Red Roof Inn is usually your best bet for lodging near NHIS. Dunkins and a gas station are right beside it and its just a few miles from the track.

Hey, have fun at Rotorfest guys! We'll be at our place in NH.

David is getting more and more movement in the leg (helped by physical therapy twice a week). He's trying to buy a Suzuki sport bike. That will make him want to get better quicker.

We should think about getting reservations at the Red Roof Inn soon so that we can be sure to have a place to stay. Are we all in agreement that the Red Roof is the place?

Rotorfest is approaching fast. Hopefully we have a good turn out.

Paddy and I won't be at the NHIS autocross. We're going to a track day with COM at Mt. Tremblant in Canada the same weekend.

Def count me in, I need to get my car tuned down in CT first because I know that Steve will take a while to get to our area and I don't want to drive my car untuned but I'm willing to pay to get him down here.

i would love to get my car tuned by steve kan due to the fact that everyone loves his work and hes pretty damn good at it. my only problem with steve tuning my car is what happens if something goes wrong, and im stuck bringing it to another tuner to figure it out? im up for a tuning meet, im just not in for tuning. let me know when you get something set up.

rotorfest was awesome. we messed around with a ferrari. i think i might have pissed him off. either way, he would've taken me easily, but i kept him in my rearview mirror good time. we need to set up another meet soon. i love food, so a BBQ might be in order.

lets set up a august meet. i keep wanting to, and keep putting it off.
here goes:

Saturday- August 19 is the date.
i need to know:

who wants to go (to choose what's convenient for all)
where you want to go
and what you want to do (cruise, bbq, meet and greet, etc.)

so im going so ill answer like this:

1. Going
2. Central Massachusetts (so we can get people from western ma, eastern ma, central ma, ct, and RI to go)
3. Cruise, Possible Dinner,
