Cool. You don't have to bring anything. David is bringing his kart racing buddy Jordan. They bought all sorts of libations and snacks. The trailer is all loaded and we're ready to go later this AM. See you there around 7am. Call us on David's cell. 508-612-6432

i would like to extend much thanks to pete and paddy for helping me out today. and if anyone has a UIM, i really need it. mine litterally crumbled apart today.
oh no!!!! im sorry to hear that. give Jesse a call. he has a lot of extra RX-7 parts that hes collected over the year. Good luck Christian. once i get the daily driver back ill have to head over and check out your operation. as well as SLO Motorsports. Im slackin on my rotary action.
Oh Christian, sorry to hear about your RX-7 woes. David and Matt B. (former FC3S owner) decided to remove the AC as well as the emissions stuff from the AE so it is completely ripped apart. There are parts all over the garage floor. I am fearful that the end result will be like yours, Christian. I'm not sure if it will be back together for NHIS. Knowing how tempermental rotary engines are, I don't know what possessed David to rip apart what was a perfectly running car! :-(
Thank god, Matt B. was helping him. Hopefully they can get back together and finish what they started. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that they will get the AE running again. Whether or not it will ever be the same is still an unknown.
Rick, because the AE is on the lift and torn apart, don't plan on being able to do anything on your car when you visit. Check with David to see where he stands on the AE. Worst case, you'll have to figure out how to haul your tires to NHIS. It's too early to know if that will be the case though.

thats ok shawn. i think im saving my money for Lime Rock on October 2nd. i figured the RAL event is gonna be a $150 weekend, with gas, food, camping, etc. so im just gonna put the money i was gonna put into auto crossing into my Lime Rock registration. im planning on bringing the legacy by to pick up the tires on wednesday if thats ok with you. i dont want to barge in, but i can bring steaks over as well if you want to have a little cook out. ill give you guys a call once i get my cell phone charger back. take care.
good luck christian.

ordered a new uim today. hopfully i will have it by the end of the week. this one is coming with block off plate for the double throttle and aws so that's cool.
i enjoied Lime Rock. im not gonna have a instructor drive my car again. does anyone know where to get Panther Paw Pads? i would like some for Lime Rock in the front. im saving my V710s for time attacks as well. so i think im done with the autocross for the year. my clutch is starting to catch a little high. and its a 6 puck which is not anywhere near normal.
I think he means Carbotech Panther Plus pads. Call Carbotech directly and tell them that Tom Hoppe is a ***** and you'll get a discount. And get the XP8's. The Panther Plus are more of a high performance street/auto-x pad, not a race pad.

thanks a lot pete. ill be sure to call him that.
i want better pads for racing. im sure you know, no cones, when your brakes get mooshy, you have to drive completely different. it makes me a little nervous. im trying to get everything set up for my next road race event so i can get the most out of it. last event i had to take it easier due to brakes and heat issues, so im trying to deal with these things to enjoi myself more. heres what i have to do for the event:
-Brake Pads (Panther Plus)
-Engine undertray
-Coolant with Water wetter
-Oil
-Clutch Disc
-Flywheel
-Motor Mounts
-Custom Tow Hooks (anyone get anything to work with a FMIC over the counter?)
