Cool. You don't have to bring anything. David is bringing his kart racing buddy Jordan. They bought all sorts of libations and snacks. The trailer is all loaded and we're ready to go later this AM. See you there around 7am. Call us on David's cell. 508-612-6432

I've got the basics of the rotary down, but I rely heavily on my piston experience.

Oh Christian, sorry to hear about your RX-7 woes. David and Matt B. (former FC3S owner) decided to remove the AC as well as the emissions stuff from the AE so it is completely ripped apart. There are parts all over the garage floor. I am fearful that the end result will be like yours, Christian. I'm not sure if it will be back together for NHIS. Knowing how tempermental rotary engines are, I don't know what possessed David to rip apart what was a perfectly running car! :-(

Thank god, Matt B. was helping him. Hopefully they can get back together and finish what they started. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that they will get the AE running again. Whether or not it will ever be the same is still an unknown.

Rick, because the AE is on the lift and torn apart, don't plan on being able to do anything on your car when you visit. Check with David to see where he stands on the AE. Worst case, you'll have to figure out how to haul your tires to NHIS. It's too early to know if that will be the case though.

I think he means Carbotech Panther Plus pads. Call Carbotech directly and tell them that Tom Hoppe is a ***** and you'll get a discount. And get the XP8's. The Panther Plus are more of a high performance street/auto-x pad, not a race pad.

So, when's the next autocross? I'm finally getting my car to the level I want it at and I promised myself I'd take it to an autocross this summer. I'm thinking the 9/3 at Devens?

thanks a lot pete. ill be sure to call him that.

i want better pads for racing. im sure you know, no cones, when your brakes get mooshy, you have to drive completely different. it makes me a little nervous. im trying to get everything set up for my next road race event so i can get the most out of it. last event i had to take it easier due to brakes and heat issues, so im trying to deal with these things to enjoi myself more. heres what i have to do for the event:

-Brake Pads (Panther Plus)
-Engine undertray
-Coolant with Water wetter
-Oil
-Clutch Disc
-Flywheel
-Motor Mounts
-Custom Tow Hooks (anyone get anything to work with a FMIC over the counter?)
