Massachusetts MEET
we need to organize a meet for spring. it's not as far off as we think (thanks f***ing god). post with ideas and interest.

I'm up for a meet,but I will have to bring my RE/PU if my 79 isn't ready by springtime.The 7 should be running in a few weeks,but I am not sure everything is going to go as planned.In theory I could have it running in a day or so,but things never go as planned for me.The RE/PU runs,and drives so I would most likely bring that if push comes to shove.I think we should go to the go-kart place in Foxborough.I like F1 Boston,but I would like to checl out the new place.Maybe an autocross meet up at Devens with Renegade Miata.Autocross=FUN!!!

I've been to Karting America in Foxboro. Its a cool place. Its not very organized, and there aren't any elevation changes like F1, but the people are a lot friendlier. There are also a lot of restaurants in the area.
My car must be running by the begining of April for a track day at NHIS. We'll see. I've got a lot of work to do.

I'll try to make it as well. Hey ZumspdRX-7, how long has your PowerFC been out for repair? Mine's been gone like 5 months. I can't seemt o get a stright answer from Apexi either. One time they told me it had just left Japan, then 2 weeks later it was still in Japan. If I had the money, I get something else. At least I still have the factory ECU. Maybe I'll drop a line in the 3rd gen forum & see who else has had this problem. Anyway, back to the topic at hand, if the date works, I'm there.

how soon do you guys want to meet? we can all meet up in our winter rides, just to get acquainted, cause spring is still kind of far away, which is a great excuse for a non-driveable RX-7 
. but yea, if you want to get together within a week, two weeks, a month, whatever, im up for it. Hooters is always a good place to meet. Or you know something more 'respectable' like outback, chillis, insert favorite restarant. And F1 would be a great idea. i bought the annual liscense last month, so the more use i get the better. How about i set a date. Sunday, March 5th. F1 Boston. $20 for 20 laps. Theres an Applebees at the hotel down the road from F1 that we can eat at afterwards too. Sound good to anyone else? ill probably stay for more then 20 laps, its addictive. Just a little feeler, see if anyone bites. if anyone is on the RX-8 club, drop them a line. I will most likely show up in my mom's (yes, i still live with my mom) Winning Blue RX-8, but its 'cooler' and more rotary-friendly then my '04 Legacy. Let me know what you think guys.
