Massachusetts MEET
Shawn/David-i am getting out of work at 3, ill be home at 4, ill be up at Devens by, hopefully, at the latest 5.30. If i get there before you guys do, ill save you a spot for your truck and trailer with the Legacy. ill give you guys a call tomorrow on my way home from work. i bought a weed sprayer bottle for our tires in case you want to cool them down. hopefully, the weather will allow that to happen.
KC-ill meet up with you tomorrow for the magnet and stickers, so if you can get some free time to help me put them on, that would be awesome.
alright gentlemen, i hope all of you are all set for racing. Good luck over the weekend.

tut tut, looks like rain
it will clear up by tomorrow morning. trust me, im a meterologist.
i think ill be running the escta supra 712 street tires tomorrow (god willing, the 710's), so if thats the case we wont have that much work to do tonight. fortunatley, most of the cars in our class are FR cars, so they 'should' have as much trouble with the rain as we do. ill look at this, if it rains, which it wont, as a learning experience.
good luck guys, get there safely!

As for this past weekend, what a blast!!!! Congratulations KC on your victory. As for us, the "Slo Motorsports" gang (this time including Rick), we lived up to the "Slo" part. It was, after all a learning experience, with all of us driving on "R" compounds for the first time. The good thing was that our cars survived. Well, on to "Ugly Tie Day" at Devens next weekend (Sunday). Don't forget to pre-register.

Create an account if you don't have one. Then search "events" and put in "6/18" as the date, "MA" for the state, and "autocross" for the type.

We ran 28/24 in the rain and 33/31 on Sunday for tire pressures at the suggestion of an SM2 Miata driver. Both setups felt pretty good.
KC - What do you run? Do you agree with what we ran?

hey guys, thanks a lot for the awesome weekend! Id say we all did well. Slo Motorsports brought in a first, second, and third........... in SM2-7
yea, those pressures felt fine in the rain for me. in the dry, i need some work.
i got bored at work today so i found averages. For Saturday in SM2, the average fastest time was 74.123 seconds. For Sunday, the average fastest time was 51.439 seconds, and the average for both days was 125.561 seconds. For Saturday, Mr.77 was 2.526 off the average, Mr.177 was 12.924 off the average, and yours truly was 7.363 seconds off the average. For Sunday, Mr.77 was 6.005 seconds off the average, Mr. 177 was 6.465, and i was 8.207 seconds off. For the totals, Mr.77 was 8.532, Mr. 177 was 19.39 seconds off, and i was 15,571 seconds off the total times for the weekends.
You know, i am really not disapointed in my turnout. i think we all did rather well. I mean, how much does it really hurt to say you lost to a $97,000 GT3? i was just honored to be in the same class as that car! We'll get 'em this weekend though, boys!
Christian, you comin this weekend? if so, we can meet up again in the morning. i hope you do, that can add one more racer to the SM2-7 class, plus youll have a lot of fun!
Oh yea, and i better not see those tires and rims on Ebay! And david better have eaten that meat loaf!
KC-thanks for the magnets. i will be hiring you for a few jobs soon. can you print custom designs if i send you the picture made exactly to scale?
ill see you guys this weekend.

It was all good. We're going to see if we can get a new right side motor mount before Sunday. If we can't get it from the local Mazda dealer we are going to steal it off of the 86 GXL.
Oh, we got $575 for your tires and rims on Ebay today. So our 10% leaves you with

We'll just stick with Sunday. We're going to try to arrive as close to 7AM as we can. Same deal as before, whoever gets there first save a spot for the other. Let's get ready to rock and roll.
im gonna try to be there as early as i can. im gonna try and get a closer paddock, im too tubby to walk all the way to the end.
christian, are you coming? if you do, ill let you run my street tires, cause your mud tires didnt feel so good, plus i owe you one. give me a call this week if you get a chance.
im doing Lime Rock next thursday. 9-5 full of racing! thats excitement! i was told i would never want to autocross after i road race. i feel i still have a lot to learn about my car before i start rubbin paint with the big boy. look at randy pobst, he started autocrossing, and hes one of the best road racers out there. im just gonna get my feet wet, see if i need to gut my interior and get a roll cage. anyone else going to the Cart-CT event on June 22nd? yes its a thursday and its $240 but i was told you get as much seat time as your body can take.

Hey Dave...how's the engine rebuild going on your AE? Christian (Willub and Company) is thinking that if he sells his FD and gets a reasonably priced FC, he can put the extra money into mods. He is then going to come out and kick our butts at auto-x.
first off, what ct. meet? theres a meet on the 22nd at hooters with NASIOC on the berlin turnpike.
Christian, you can just race with us in SM2-7. we end up kickin our own asses.
