You guys always have a meeting when I have to go to my weekend drills I've been dying to go to one of the meets specially now that I have my 7 on the road.

 

my car hit 130,000 mile yesterday.

 

i was scared that zoomzoom was going to be in new york or new jersey. ive driven over 1500 miles in the last week, and i am all set with leaving new england, or massachusetts for that matter, anytime soon. zoom-zoom is going to be in 'boston' august 19th and 20th, so that could be a possibliy. one of these days will work for me, especially if we get to beat on other people's cars.

jlee, if you're ever in ma, i can try to set something up for you. we still have 2-3 more months of good weather, so this wont be the last chance. im glad you are willing to come from new york though.

i want to plan an F1 boston meet again soon. despite all the negativity surrounding it, ive never had a bad time there. the cars arent even, but it's not like im getting paid to win, or coming close to winning, for that matter. im trying to set up a late bachelor party for my friend at F1, so maybe i can do a Bachlor/RX-7 Club day at F1. anyone interested? if so, i can post a date with essentials in a new thread. i was thinking a sunday (20laps/$20) later on in August, my weekends have filled up quickly.

we could always do a meet labor day weekend. that is a garauntee that most people will have time off that weekend.

It runs from 8:15-3:00, so if we get out of F1 early enough, we can head over to it.

We just recieved a j-spec S5 engine today. thing is in really nice ondition. looks like it was modded mildly. it has an anodized blue alternator pulley and a wicked old school hks "Super Blow Off Valve". the clutch is in really nice condtion and the tranny feels really nice when you spin it. harness is uncut. the turbo has very little play in it and spins freely. it also has what look like almost brand new hks spark plugs. the only down side is that it didn't come with an ecu, which they said it would. if you guys want to see the project, look for my post in the 2nd gen section.
