Maryland guys!
It's worth the money to ship it... or drive it. It's only like 8 hours away I've driven everytime... but now with gas it's probably cheaper to ship.
Pm'ed you phone #, let me know where/when.

I've got free space right now to rebuild an engine
And hey, Joey, are these yours?

Well I'd love to have my convertible take up that space for a while!
Took us novices (me and Joker1337) about 7 hours to remove the engine and trans - I only cut about 4 hoses with the machette
The instructions at rotaryresurrection.com are pretty good although he could use better pictures. It's the little steps like "remove the exhaust" that take the time

he does really good work from what i heard. i get my motor back some time this and it should be in within the next 2 weeks so ill find out how good of a rebuild it is...he did warranty it so if he did that he has good confidence in his work. through the whole process he takes pics and sends them to you through email so you get kept pretty up to date with what he is doing.

The guy does outstanding rebuilds and is fair and honest with his warranty.

I've had 3 done by him, and if I had a rotary I'd take it back to him to get another one rebuilt. I put 25k miles on one, then sold it, and it's in a friends car now, 1 I sold, then the 2nd owner wrecked it after the 1st person I sold it to put on about 20k miles, the first one I put about 10k on then sold.

I haven't really seen a reduction in massive SUVs though.
I think these people just fill up and don't care, or they just write it off as something they have to live with because the "need" these SUVs . . . I have no idea.

I'll actually be home all day Friday working on it too...
