I don't have front plates in any of my cars, the one time I did get stopped / got a ticket in my RX-7 (like 2 or 3 years ago), I had it on the dash, so I don't do that anymore. It just draws attention to the fact that it's not on your front bumper.

that and if you get in an accident with it on your dash, it could decapitate you

If they didn't give you a repair order, forgetaboutit. I've 2 in the past 3 years, but they're cheap tickets, and they didn't give me a repair order so I paid the fine and didn't fix it.

Base security hassles me about it every month, goin on a year now and it's still there. The former owner drilled holes in the bumper to accommodate it but, i don't have screws either so i'll be lazy until a cop actually cares enough to pull me over for it.

I don't see a Fudds thread, is that still going on or are they suspended pending the MD BBQ?

which base? I work on several different bases, but only one in MD. I hope they don't bug me about it.

Do you have base stickers on your car?

Lightbulb

I think we should try to get rid of the front plate there are soo many people that dont want it because their cars don't have a place for it. The governor passes any thing he gets his hands on any way. Don't get me started with him go to micky d's and get a drink and it is a $1.06 WTF that penny makes me soo mad

And hopefully i will have my 3rd gen back for the next fudds meet should hopefully be done mid April then make the trip to Nj to get it.

How much and where from? I'm still trying to decide how to cure my 4x4 mode, and I don't think I want to just use springs since the LS1 going in will cause a lot of wheelhop.

a smidge under $1800

I'm not putting them on until after my car is running for a bit so I have a good comparison, I'll post a review after I put them on.

$71 and $104 for a year of motorcycle insurance?! Jesus. I was quoted over $400 for a year on a Kawasaki Ninja 250, liability only.

How much damage could one do on a 300lb bike, honestly?!

You'd be surprised. I caused several hundred dollars worth to my own car by dropping my bike in the garage when my knee gave out. Just falling over at a traffic light into someone's car could cause quite a bit. How much do you think THIS caused? And yes I know that it was the car owner's fault, but that's irrelevant.

Hood and a front bumper.

My bill: $200
Body shop bill: Maybe a grand and some change.

I can do more damage in what I drive currently.

If I do damage on a bike, I expect to not hear about it.
