Could have been Eau de transmission fluid.

I can't count how many showers I've taken in that crap.

On another note, out with the old:

In with the new (to me):

First used bike I have bought in many years, because I've always been afraid of how bad people could treat them. I traded my R1 straight up for it. We'll see what happens, but I'm liking it (all except the emblem on the seat, but I guess I'll get used to it or replace the seat).

I've had the used gear oil, it's sulphury smell is NOTHING to supercharger oil. It is obvious, you've never had a used supercharger pee on you :P

SO! You did go through with the trade, congrats! Lets see if this bike can cure your phobia of used bikes . . .

I love the emblem on the seat, maybe thats just me, but i love that emblem. I would never own a busa though or anything thats 1000cc or more. I know that i would be stupid with the bike, I have a friend who had a turbo busa putting out about 315. After riding that and doing a wheelie to 120 i realized i don't need one lol and i shouldn't have one. So i stick with 750 or less. I had a Honda F3 with a cbr 600 rr motor in it, till my cousin wrecked it. I found a 81 gs450L thats ready to go, goin to see it tomorrow >:0D. Might be getting it. here are 2 pics of it.

Maybe you should start with newer superchargers

I just took it for a short spin, so far so good.

Well I did pay the new price for the R1 ($12.8k) when I got it, and I did make the trade because after back surgery the Busa is simply more comfortable. So while it may seem lucky, it's more like prudent

You could get yourself killed on a 50cc scooter if you rode it too aggressively. I don't recommend sportbikes (or any large, ill-handling bikes) for newer riders, but once experienced, it's about personal comfort and skill. I know the bike is fast, but I guarantee I rode the R1 faster than I will ride the Busa. I'm getting old, I guess

hey, I'm proposing a meet on 7/7/07 (a Saturday)

I think it might be a good idea to try out the place across the street from fudds that sean has been suggesting near the advance auto and other stuff. Sean can specify that more . what do you guys think?

That's pretty far in advance, but I don't see a problem with it. I love Fudd's, but that doesn't mean I don't love food in general

Every time we don't meet at fudds, it's always been a fiasco.

this isn't a fudds meet that we change to something else, this will be an across the street from fudds meet from the beginning. and there are lots of places around there that we can go. people can choose whatever they want to eat.

remember that this is walking distance to fudds and theres a Baja Fresh, Panera Fresh, Advance Auto and Walmart. plenty of open parking in the back of the lot thats visible from 175 so other car guys might actually SEE us and stop by.

attached is a map

A - Fuddruckers
B - Wendy's
C - Chick -fil-a
D - McDonalds
E - WalMart
F - Advance Auto Parts
G - Panera Bread
H - Baja Fresh
M - Proposed meeting place

From what I remember whenever someone tries to move the location, that same person doesn't wait at the new spot..

When they said to meet at the red robin (or whatever it was by krispy kreme), I waited there for over an hour before giving up and driving to fudds to find everyone else at fudds... including the people who wanted the meet NOT at fudds. And I was at the proposed new spot on time.

Since then it's hard to take any of these plans seriously.

I say we meet at fudds, and if you want to go somewhere else from there, then we can leave from there, if it's all really that close.

That way, no confusion.
