The time has finally come that I shall rebuild the piston engine on my motorcycle.

The full gasket set was $68, but the rings are probably going to cost a fortune.

 

me and jason found out the frame on my truck is disintegrating, its already bowed between the cab and the bed. its only 15 yrs old but shows what happens with that harsh mountain salt (previous owner lived in garrett county)

Ran a 10.43 @130mph this weekend in Milan. Holy cow was it hot. And wtf is up with the mayflies?? Damn things were everywhere.

Did you get a good look at the car? It maybe a friend of mines boyfriend's he lives about 15 minutes from columbia and his is the only red FD i have seen around

 

I was hoping for a little better, but it just doesn't want to run faster in the heat, especially since my class isn't allowed intercoolers. I got it to run a 10.23 @ 132.7 this morning at MIR, but then the track got slippery and it wouldn't hook again, so the next pass was a 10.53 and they went downhill from there.

My class is running low 10's on average, with 4 guys now hitting 9's on some of their passes. I don't expect to win being a rookie with a new combination but I was hoping to do a little better than I have so far. I'm currently 7th out of 11 that have made an event so far.

speaking of, the place SPRacing sends their turbos to get rebuilt has had my 61 trim wheels on back order, but they got 67s in stock so im getting a free upgrade on size in addition to the full rebuild and upgrade to double ball bearing. and since talking to the guy on the phone about my issues, he said hes gonna throw some free extras in the box for me when he ships it back (yay stickers??)

they sent my wife a message saying her flight was still on time 3 hours before her flight, she goes to check in and finds out its been changed from a 6:30am flight to an 11pm red eye with no notification. boy is she pissed.

other news, my turbo is done and is being shipped back today. should receive it pretty damn soon. so i can finally get my car up and running.
