With some help from Dan and Matt, I just pulled the engine out of my TII in 2 hours.

I've been doing this for too long ;_;

i get to figure out how to connect a stock 2.5" downpipe on my car to the 3" cat its running. prob dump the stock turbo on the car to get it running while the GT35R is off being rebuilt. have to swap the stock injectors back in though cuz i dont wanna run insanely rich (680cc vs 440cc).

You should be able to take the downpipe to an exhaust shop and have them expand the end so it will fit. JC Whitney even sells tools to do it, but it's not really worth buying. Any Midas or Meineke can do it in about 5 seconds.

I should have been working, but I forgot my friggin' keys so I drove to Havre De Grace at 1 am for nothing, and I had just gotten back. Now I get to go back tonight instead.

Let me look and see what I got, but I don't know if any of my stuff would fit you anyway.

If you want to look at new stuff, here's a couple links:

What sizes are they? Who knows, we might have the same shoe size :P I'm between an 11 and a 13 depending on company. I also gotta find stuff for my wife at some point.

I think I'll try getting everything used except the helmets.

Well I only have 1 pair of riding boots and I'm keepin' them. I haven't found any of my old stuff, just a jacket that is a little too small for me that I hope to fit in soon - it's new and unworn, their sizing chart is way wrong and I couldn't return it so I guess I need to lay off the cheeseburgers a little

I'll check with some of the guys I know to see if anyone has gear they don't need. Have you checked craiglist and ebay yet?

got an assload of stuff done to my car yesterday.
removed the downpipe, turbo and exhaust manifold. turbo has MASSIVE wobble.
removed front bumper skin and aftermarket intercooler including all the piping which held about 2-3 quarts of oil. I reattached the frame bumper since it was removed and relocated my oil filter relocation kit.

next step is to finish mounting the frame bumper and then fab up a different mounting bracket for the intercooler, get turbo repaired/replaced, and get divorced downpipe modified to dump wastegate flow back into downpipe. I did get the stock cupholders from a '92 installed in my car with a little modification since the armrest in my '90 wasnt really made for it.

still gotta sell my old car and the extra parts i got.

I'm glad to see you got more done than me yesterday... I went home and rewired my wideband and wired up my e-fan with a relay, both of which still don't work right afterwards, or in the case of my e-fan... at all

i did all that work in under 4 hours too. a lot of it was just figuing out what the hell the guy hooked up. half the hoses im still trying to understand how they work.

look at the clusterf*** of hoses right in front of the turbo. there wasnt enough room to install a filter even directly on the turbo. theres plenty of room now that i reran some of the crap and got the oil filter (blue thing) out of the way. came with an apexi that im gonna rig to sit in fender probly.

its also a really bad sign when you have to drain oil out of a HKS SSBV.
