Maryland guys!
Thanks guys.
Couple after we got it back. It's definitely worth the low low price, I'm very happy. The guy even wants it back when I have time for him to fix a few things I wasn't even worried about.

We have a sponsorship deal worked out (his shops name will be on the car) so what I paid won't reflect what someone else would pay. I do know he's excited to be getting advertising from me and he wants to grow his business from the one-man operation is is now, and the work I got far exceeds what Maaco can do.
I'll see what I can find out from him, and if he wants me to I'll just post up his info so you can call him. You can absolutely mention you heard of him through me and he'll work out a deal. He might offer a discount based on me giving you one of his cards or something, we just haven't discussed it yet.

There are 7 NMRA races lined up this year:
Bradenton, FL: March 8-11
Reynolds, GA: March 30-April 1
Milan, MI: June 15-17
Joilet, IL: (Super Bowl II) July 19-22
Atco, NJ: Aug 10-12
Columbus, OH: Aug 30-Sept 2
Bowling Green, KY: Oct. 4-7
I'll probably look around and see what other events I can compete in, but outside of these it'll be mostly testing when I go to the track. I haven't even driven it yet, so it's going to be an interesting season. Here's a pic of the previous owner in action:

It's like the turn-in spacers for the FB that're legal Improved Touring class...
They attach to the struts. The rules state that shocks and struts are free so long as they attach in the stock location...
I love rules lawyers.

i got my car back from impound, the entire stereo system had been stolen out minus the CD changer which was in the glove box. insurance is getting me a new system for free. gotta wait for their audio company to come out and inspect it first.

1) Drill four large holes at each corner of your parking spot.
2) Sink a 00 gauge eyelet into each hole
3) Buy some massive heat treated hardened chain
4) Run the chains through your car, going through the spokes of your rims, and various hard-to-move suspension pieces.
5) Lock the chains to the eyelets using the best locks you can find, usually more then one per an eyelet.
6) Charge your CoA for all expenses incurred, including you own time.
