I don' know about bodywork, but what he told me for paint is $1200 for the whole car. I paid about $3200 for my FD to get painted at a different shop, and I can tell you the job I just got on the Mustang is equivalent, maybe even better.

Are you competing with the car? He might well be looking for another car to advertise on, I have no idea. He'd want to know it would get some publicity though, to be willing to come down on the price. I'll see what I can find out.

Yeah. I keep a stash of various out-of-state (Maryland) tags around for that purpose. Then I back the vehicles in so that the rear bumper is against the fence and the front bumper is against another more legal vehicle. Unreadable plates, but at least they have plates...

Otherwise, in my area, it's legal to have unplated/uninspected vehicles under a cover I think.

the plates have to match whats on record for the sticker parking permit since the association controls the parking lots. even guests have to use a window hanging guest permit when staying over night, which im having to use in the loaner car i got temporarily.

That **** pissed me off about my last apartment.

I thought I'd get creative and stick the parking permit to a piece of plexiglass and set that up in my window. If I changed cars around, I'd be able to just put the plexiglass in whatever I'm driving and I'd still have my hanger guest pass...

When they changed over lease office staff, they said it had to be affixed to the window directly.

I outsmarted them one year. I went to get my parking sticker and asked for a guest pass. Then my room mate went to get his sticker later in the day and he got a guest pass too.

I think the key here is to be more selective in your living arrangements.

Already done. Sometimes, I like to walk around like I own the place. It's because I own the place.

I can park as many shitty cars as I want here so long as they're off the public roads.

YOU remove my entire exhaust system and front. i think the 2x6/2x8 idea is better. ive seen tow guys use 4x4 or 6x6 blocks when loading or unloading my car cuz its lowered. helps keep it above the ground untill its level enough to drop down.

usually if you notify them that it will be sitting for a long period of time, you can work something out. we got someone in our complex with their car in the back corner under a car cover so obviously its possible.

it has normal VGA input and a 5 BNC input (i got a BNC to VGA cable to go with it)
