car is complete.

I'm keeping the engine and transmission for my 85. The rest is up for grabs. This includes the hood, driveshaft, rear end, suspension interior, etc....

they screwed up the setting for how old the threads you want to be able to see is and made it really short. you can expand it in yer profile options like i did and the old threads will show up again.

I'm new to the area and looking to get into the RX-7 community. I am looking to purchase my first RX-7 next week. It's a 1988 FC Turbo II with 120K on the chassis. 11K miles on a rotary resurrection streetport rebuild with some mods.

Do you have any get togethers around the Lexington Park area?

I am excited to meet new people who share an interest in these cars.

 

Was wondering, in the summer do u guys meet up a drag strips? I would just hate to be the only one up there with a rx7 at one and get beat and have no one to back me up lol

 

we don't usually meet up at drag strips, but I'll come with you one time if I think my car is up for it at the time. send me a pm this summer sometime and we can work something out.

I drove my van home today.

It's open header.

It's so loud I want to die.

I'm debating whether I should do a single exhaust with one muffler and one presilencer, or a dual exhaust with an X pipe and two mufflers.

I'm thinking for a 3.4L it's not worth the effort for a dual exhaust.

Thoughts anyone?

 

give each cylinder its own exhaust

 

That will lead to lost power, and gained weight and expense. :O

you could make an X-X-X pipe! (you can't draw that very well with letters...) and then have your exhaust coming out the back in a fun shape... like a triforce!
