Mine don't park either. It's a standard problem with FC's. Search the archives, there are some nice descriptions on how to fix this - No I haven't actually done it yet

As long as they park in the right place and still wipe the part of the windshield you look through, so what? Get it through inspection, then worry about it.

No no no, no matter WHAT I do they park in the same spot. But when I move them, they wipe off the windshield, hitting the black plastic thing. But they still park in the wrong spot!!

Can you park the wipers manually by tapping the mist switch? (Not spray, but the switch that'll make the wipers sweep once.)

The park cam may be broken or misaligned.

Try a different wiper motor... Or disassemble the gearbox.

Internally, there's a cam and switch in the wiper motors. If the cam comes loose from the shaft or wears out, or the switch wears out, the wipers will fail to park or park in the wrong place...

That switch applies power to the motor, bypassing the Low speed wiper setting. So if that's broken, then so are your intermittant wiper settings.

Maybe one of the arms is bent? Not the wiper arm - the arm that connects it to the motor. There's not much left in the system

I have been looking for a black 7 series with anything but tan leather for about 2 years and I found one in south FL. So I bought it from a old guy that had it on consignment at the dealership. It took me 25 calls to finally get the old coot to let it go without forcefully ripping the keys from his cold wrinkled hands. And yes I will take you for a ride. For a big sedan it boasts a 5 second 0-60. I am intrested in what the outcome would be matched against a somewhat stock t2.

And yes the olds with the northstar is no slouch either. In the 3+ years I have had the car the only problem I ever had was the plastic end tanks on the rad cracked and that was replaced with a aftermarket all aluminum rad and new factory rad hoses. But from what I understand this happens to all aurora's. Anyways there is not a better 3200 dollar car on the market in my opinion.

When did you get a T2??

The V8 Aurora's are sweet. The Northstar V8 is derived from the Corvette ZR-1's indomitable LT5 DOHC V8. Unfortunately, they're FWD.

I wish GM had put those in some big RWD sedans, but the best we ever got were the LT1-powered B-bodies (Fleetwood, Impala, RoadMaster, Caprice), which I guess still aint' shabby.

No dyno numbers yet, nor have I had it tuned. I may just tune it myself for right now just so I can get it to idle. I don't expect more than 400hp out of it, probably less. From a 50 mph roll, I shouldn't be any better off than you turbo guys. But from 10-20 mph I should have the advantage. Unfonrtunately I have some massive wheelhop at anything over about 1/4 throttle.

Allrighty! E100 eats aluminum! And I'm planning to use E100 in my van! SO, does anyone know of a way to protect my aluminum intake manifolds and fuel rail?

Whats that you say? Anodizing? Does anyone know a good place for that?

.. . . ......

I've had it a while, it's sitting under a tarp in front of my house untill Theo hurries up and does the VA titlework. :-p

Scratch that, I'm going to probably buy all the equiptment to anodize aluminum myself. Maybe make a small buisness of it or something

Who needs stuff anodized locally? What colors are yall interested in?
