"rich bastard :-p"

Sean,
Your on a similar path I was at your age. So in 8-10 years you will be there as well. Only 2 professions pay these days. 1. Government, 2. Medical field

So if you are financially not doing as well as you might expect then you need to get into on of the fields above.

what type of tech?

Medical tech?
My cousin just got out of school and got a job as a x-ray tech at Mass General and started at 81k + full benifits
Anyways she is 23. While she was going to school she worked as a receptionist for 19 bucks an hour. My point is where can you get a high paying job with very little schooling where your salary starts high and keeps going year after year?

I meant technology. If you get in to a security-related technology place, generally you'll have a good job for a long time that pays pretty well. I'll agree that computer jobs aren't what they once were, but you can still find a good job if you have decent skills and experience, and a degree.

I disagree on the Medical side because not all people in the medical field make a lot of money. For example, most doctors now have to pay an assload of money for malpractice insurance, and have the amount they can charge for services dictated to them by the insurance company. However, I agree that medical techs do make a lot of money. Another one is pharmacy, but you need a good bit of school for that one.

They pop up all the time. (There's one for free now, and a couple for $50ish, probably negociable.)

See also, http://www.freecycle.org

I'd give you the avacado green one from my kitchen, but it was gas, fucked up, and it got hauled off the other day, along with the old fridge and dishwasher... Next up, Water heater.

I'm still alive!

It's been a while, but i'm still around. My car was towed by the police. whom i trust for nothing anymore because they all seem to be scum. but in other news i should be swapping my engine soon. so- should i use the stock trans or the turbo? i'd also like to do a short throw and a megasquirt while it's on the lift and/or out of the car. c&c please!

If you're using a turbo engine, use a turbo drivetrain. It's not like they are expensive, I've got two laying around :p

What kinda head unit? You buy it already?

Lately, I've been using the quick wire harnesses from Circuit City. I move head units from car to car too much. I bought a roll of pipe strap from Home Depot to use as backstraps.

it's a pioneer DEH-2300, I got it from james. it already has a cage thing, I think all I need is a harness and one of those plastic surround things.

You don't have to work retail, hospitals need pharmacists too.
