no the RE intake manifold not the REW. I need a writeup for the RE cosmo UIM because that's what I just got. I would amagine at the least I would need to make a adpater but a writeup would help.

Basically, the writeup will tell you the same thing i'm going to tell you.

1. take a sheet of carbon paper and tape it to a piece of cardboard carbon side towards the cardboard.

2. put that unit carbon paper side down onto your LIM and rub vigorously.

3. do the same thing with another piece of cardboard for the re UIM

4. cut the traced shapes out of both and see how you can match them up... ie what needs to be shaved where.

5. find someone to mill a chunk of stainless or aluminum into the shape you mocked up with the cardboard.

6. install

also depending on how the tb adaptor sits, you might need to modify the oil tube.. throttle cable, etc

sometimes it helps to get a REAL inspection done on your car....i had mine inspected by 2 separate people. found some serious problems with my car that i wouldnt have noticed otherwise untill i would have been sliding off the road with only 3 wheels.

he's had his fair share of serious inspections, they're just failing him on dumb things like windshield wipers parking too high

My windshield wipers park too high, you have to play with the button once or twice to have them park in the correct spot. My turn signal USED to not cancel itself, more annoying than hazardous (obviously, we've all seen our fair share of people riding for miles with them on, so the auto-cancel does not always work ...)

But the turn signal is now fixed! The wipers I have no idea how to adjust, though, so...inspection, PLEASE.

place i took it to just checked that the signals and wipers worked, nothing more. he nailed me on the fact that my headlight switch didnt click into place and you could roll the lights off by accident.

im trying to figure out a rattling sound coming from my engine ( sounds like a rod bearing but it only happens at low RPM and the frequency doesnt change like a blown bearing). that and an electrical problem (possible drain somewhere). GOOD news is that i finally got a yellowcap for it.

I had a car with wipers that wouldn't sit right, so I just took them off and moved them down a couple of notches and they sat perfect!

that was my first idea too, but when he turned them on they still go all the way down when they're whiping... so I thought if he moved them down they would start to wipe off the bottom of the wind shield.
