not that it matters, since we all know Jason's always right.
If he was around, i'd let him... Instead, i'm sitting at home trying to get a slight dispute about something so small to end without people getting pissy....

And why cop the smart attitude towards it all and say that he's always right?

No, nobody is always right... However, I don't know how many different people have worked through or with him on various projects, so i'd at least feel that he should have the right to having stuff dealt with one on one, not with a bunch of people chiming in on what they thing is the just thing to do....

Isn't that the one that you jumped the gun on because he used a choice few words that you assumed to mean something else?

In any case, I agree with the latter part.... Let him deal with this when he gets home....

On an lighter note: my '7 is getting new paint out of the colision with the truck from 2 weeks ago. I'll probably end up kicking in a little, but will get the body totally worked over, new paint, and clear coat.
I got a price of $1,100 for a new Robbins top (installed) from G&S Upholstery in Millersville, and price of $1,200 for both front seats (my leather's TRASHED). I'm thinking about charcoal denim instead of leather. Those sound like decent prices to me - any comments?

You guys will probably have to wait until Fudds in Dec to see it, but I should have all that done by then...

i hardly jumped the gun. he tried to sell something to someone else without consulting me first. i had to explain to him how disrespectful that is. i guess i have to explain the same to you.

though, that matter was between HIM and I.

dammit...Cal shouldn't have brought me back on here. the drama is frickin thick.

that would be pretty stupid to do.

just my $.02
Welcome back! Havent seen you in a while!
And I havent paid him back because we had both agreed that payment would be recieved on the next Fudds meet (And that hasnt happend yet)

FURTHERMORE, who in their right mind starts doing things to something they haven't yet paid for?

if it's not paid for, isn't that essentially a loan?
Yes, Ken was there. And anyone starts doing things to things they havent yet paid for, do you think I wouldnt make the $6 lunch payment come next meet? How about people who buy things on their credit cards? Are those things "on loan" and cant be used?

No, there really wasnt a decent attempt to communicate with me. Just one PM demanding the part back, it was a sentence long, and it was at the same time he posted about it on the thread. No phonecall or prior notice or anything.

And I "wasnt speeking for myself" because I was out of the house. Who said I was always right? Ken's proven me wrong a few times, we all know that :-p

You did not. I take all deals very seriously and that would have thrown up an immediate red flag.

The deal went sour because you decided you didnt want the car. I never sold it out from under you, I simply noticed that you had not even attempted to contact me on the matter in two months, and then commented that _IF_ you decided you didnt want it, I might sell it as a shell.

Incorrect. See above.

though, that matter was between HIM and I.
Then why did you mention it?

dammit...Cal shouldn't have brought me back on here. the drama is frickin thick.
The drama wasnt here a second ago . . .

Point is, bottom line, Cal sold me an item, payment was agreed to be made at the next Fudds meet, it hasnt come to be that time yet. This would all make sense if I had missed the payment, but I didnt.

BOTTOM LINE:
HE REFUSED PAYMENT AT THAT DATE AND SAID IT WAS OK TO PAY IT LATER.

Actually: Correction, I recieved no PM from Cal. For some reason I thought I did, but I just checked my inbox and I can't find it. The only PM I have recieved from him on the subject was today.

VAX: You work on some awesome stuff! Makes me wish I got a college degree :p
Did you check aabestco.com for top prices? You should go german cloth or something. I think getting another Vynal top is a bad idea.

I think Pele was making fun of this situation between me and Cal.

I seriously doubt that really happend :p

Vax that is not a good price on the top. You can order a better top from AA best co $400 ( best on the market in 10 custom colors) and installed by a shop in Laurel, MD $400 and save some pocket change. I just had this done about 8 months ago and mine came out great. And on the seats they sound a little on the high side aswell. After all they are just recovering the frame using the old leather as the template and replacing the foam.
Not exactly "custom" but they are trying to charge you custom prices. PM me if you need the number to the shop in Laurel.

Well, glad all that misunderstanding was taken care of, although I wish people didn't have to go into exodus about it... Just forgive and forget about it.....

I really don't think this little bout is anything worthwhile, since there's no clique mentality OR any dormant drama that I know about here, at least....

Let's just get along, ok kids? When it comes to business, lay out the terms IN FULL before agreeing to anything if it's really that much of an important matter....

It's not a hard concept to grasp at all....

Does anyone know where I could buy race gas in the Baltimore area?

Thanks
