on the drive home something shot out of my tail pipe and the car started running better. then on 32 i hit a bump and the exhaust started to hiss. but then it went away and the car got very quiet and smooth. it's better than ever but still underpowered.

that's great news! I finally got the vac leak fixed on mine - idles smooth, but needs to be tweaked. Running super rich - it will hit fuel cut easy in third gear (so i don't let it) I'm thinking about getting with you and Ken about that MegaSquirt asap - how much for everything i need?

It is $420 for the Rotary Prepared MegaSquirt itself, and it uses all your stock sensors. That is the version v3 board (the one I reccomend) You will need to solder a special connector onto your wiring harness to accept the MegaSquirt.

HOWEVER! We are currently developing a Plug-And-Play Rotary Prepared MegaSquirt that does not require soldering, you just replace your stock ECU with it. The test cars for this will be my GXL and my TII.

yeah its sounds like you had a clogged cat. It happens all the time. Cat is only good for about 60k but most people are still running the the factory cat above 100k. If you don't need emissions just un bolt it and smash a metal pipe through it until all the metal mesh is gone. then you will be fine

Coke you can run any manifold you want on you engine as long as you don't have any leaks. The main reason people switch to these is the lower manifold has been cleared out to except the stock FC turbo and manifold. You stock NA lower will hit up against it and you will have to carefully shave it down and remove some of the metal around the bolts. This makes the NA mani prone to cracking when you hit giant DC pot holes. If you want it you need to speak up because I have a PM from a member in San Diego who wants it but has not sent the paypal yet.

it goes up to about 7 lbs in 1st and 2nd, and it'll hit fuel cut in 3rd at like 4k when jumps to 10lbs or so.

so i haven't been flooring it - besides, avgs about 9.5 mpg....

i need an emisions hook up asap - how much do i need to fork over? ethier that, or i need to throw on a cat to fail emisions so i can get a waiver...but that is more of a pain in the *** to put the cat and airpump back on...

also - mike (crashdummy) needs an inspection/emisions hook up too

we might have to have a "needs a inspection" meet at the inspection place. I know I need one on the olds aurora. Plus all you guys can see how pimp my olds is now that Dave and I painted the wheels black. So when i roll up in a 14 ft long car with blacked out rims it will make your **** look weak.

I should have this done next week... Just gotta solder up another msns-extra board and wire it to the megasquirt board... it'll probably take me a few days after monday (monday we're finally going to finish the wiring on the 'vert)

Oh, and I just noticed a new smiley... at least I think it's new:

Right its a direct bolt up. Plus is intake volume is larger than the smaller NA manifold.

I'm pretty sure it's not a direct bolt on... considering your turbo is a 4-port and his NA is a 6-port...

So Eage8 you saying that i will have to do a lil modifications to add the T11 manifold? or just worry about the S5 manifold.. since it would be easier..

just go with an S5 manifold, you would have to change stuff with the TII one (like the side of you intake) and I think it would make you're car slower personally )

So yeh, Theo and I towed Saheed's TII from Croften, MD, to Gaithersburg, MD (to his house)

It was supposed to have a blown engine, so we left the car in fifth gear on the highway (while it was being towed) so that the engine was spinning. The apex seals set properly, and now the car starts. However, I'm sure it has a blown coolant seal, and the oil looks like it came from the lungs of a lifetime smoker.
