act clutch (and for that matter almost ALL new clutches) comes with a new higher quality pressure plate already. kinda pointless to get a new clutch surface but keep the weak(ened) pressure plate. its like buying top of the line sports tires on busted up rims.

no...i was showing off how much power it had and how easy it was to shift it. thats when he asked if i was going out for GT racing. took me a second to realize why i didnt have as much power as i should have so i popped the clutch out and back in to let it get a grip and then it was ok. other than that...the OEM clutch handles great
im gonna get an ACT clutch and light weight flywheel anyway for my latter performance improvements (aluminum driveshaft, FD/lightweight rims)

I've got a centerforce DF clutch, and contrary to all the negative reviews about it, It's a great clutch. I can drop it pretty much anywhere up to 5k and get zero clutch chatter, and it'll just roast the tires from the moment you put it down.
