Got the rear suspension today but I'm sleepy as hell so there's no way I'm puttin it in tonight. Maybe tomorrow if I have the engery. I'm getting close to 2Gs in the FC. I have no idea about the FD but I know its over 4Gs... pitty, don't have much to show for it.

 

not ALL of us have or want RX-7s here.

i got a supra and Brandons got a 240SX
most of the rest of the RX-7 guys are too busy getting their 7's even to RUN let alone relly improving them

 

and we were talking Lateral G-Force...not how much money has been dumped into it.

so far im seeing .8-.9 for stock setup but modified it can get like 1.3 at most.

someone find actual info on this...very interrested to find it out.

remember this covers all the models... (fb-fd and all predecesors in the same model line)

 

I have put $323.68 into my FC, thats including the price of the car, a second motor (both free) and all parts needed to get it running and turbo it, with rims and spoiler, gauges, and new interior. Plus Audiobahn sound system...
If you know where to look and have some patience you can get REALLY good deals!

As far as lateral Gs go, its not uncommon to see numbers above 1G on modified 7s. As far as stock figures go, I'll have to dig through some stuff to find those answers but they're around somewhere.

.91-1.02 g*

FC - Lateral G's:
.86-.89 g

Lets see how much I have spent on my car?

$12,750.00 for the car
$1,400 to make it pass inspection
$350 for new radiator
$300. for new exaust(old one rusted out).
$1600 for a new cooling system(fan assembly)
$400 to fix my stereo system
$700 for new tires
$600 for random fixes
$1600 for a new clutch/some major problems.

lets see how much DOUG has put into his FD:::::::$19,700.00 and I still have to get all new bushings for my suspension, new wiring harness and a hose job. AND I HAVE ******* 2 AFTERMARKET PARTS ON IT! goddamn is my fd a money pit, I've spent like 5 grand in the past 4months on it. GODDAMMIT!

ok so add another $2000.00 onto $19,700.00 and you have the amount it cost me to fix a fucked up FD to a working FD. goddamnit!

I've spent well over 3k on my FC and it isn't even turbo, and now it looks like i'll be spending more. Got a smart place to get an S4 driver's side door and front quarter panel?

and it still doesn't work at all!

+5 to bumming rides ability!

stuff that's still broke:
doesn't start
suspension is shot
gets 12 mpg when does start
no stereo at all (only 1 speaker in whole car)
tires are going bad
it's primer...
