Possibly not the right thread, but since I'm more concerned with local options I'll put this here:

I'm picking up my TII tomorrow morning, and am interested in getting my wastegate ported so I don't have boost creep. I plan on going for a 3" exhaust and I know that boost creep is a common issue. Anyone know a place/someone that can port my wastegate?

Suggestions on mods/order of mods?

Saw a white FD in Kingstown yesterday. Perhaps heading to the Monday meet-up? It had a decent sized dent at the front of the driver's side quarter panel. Didn't recognize it. Anyone know this car?

CDC Auto in Bowie this saturday for those of you that like to slide around in the rain There are three 7s signed up already. With the 30-40% chance of rain I'm expecting some no-shows and possible extra runs.

I had a good outing with CDC in Bowie this past weekend. Although, I was the only 7 there...

 

This was my first weekend at home in a month and with Hyperfest/LeMons next weekend I really just wanted to chill a bit. I will make it out to another event soon though. Are they running at Winchester at all this year?

edit: haha just got an email about the next event... in Winchester ;P

 

I was going to go, but had to leave town for the weekend. I heard the course was pretty different.

 

Yes they run in Winchester on 6/25, 7/9, and 8/13. I will not be at 6/25 unfortunately

I placed 9th this past event, best finish so far. It was a very interesting course setup. It was easy to stay on course, but hard to get your line right. I found it very entertaining. Two interesting features were a hairpin right before a WOT uphill slalom, and a squared off box type upper section.

You can check out you tube to see some runs. I'll post one of mine once it is done converting.

Also, who is interested in hitting up MIR for some drag strip action on Sunday? They are running a test and tune for $30.00. My thought is to show up early (10am) and hit maybe about 4 runs and head home. I don't want to spend too long of a day there, but I'd like to see where my car is at before I start in on some more mods.

Anyone?
