It's time for another one! I'm nearing completion of my kitchen and the GTUs is running fine in between projects.

I'll run this poll until Sunday July 3rd, and then we'll have our date picked. Multiple vote will be allowe dhtis time if both dates work for you( I screwed that up last time)
After that we can start an attendance list.

The meet will be at Noon, whichever Saturday we decide on. We can meet at my place or CiCi's. It's your choice, I'm about 5 minutes away with plenty of street parking- overflow in the yard. Most of you will know from previous meets.

We'll have the same schedule; meet at CiCi's and eat, then come back to my place and hang out in the back yard and maybe have a fire. BYOB for after- I have 12 yard chairs you might need to bring yours own if we get more people.
Lets also use this time to parts swap, or Harbor Freight is conveniently close if you other married guys need an excuse to get out of the house. I've saved lots of super cupons to share.


Let's try to keep this to RX-7 owners and close friends. I don't want this to blow up and have a bunch of random hooligans showing up ruining our meet and missing the toilet in my bathroom. With that being said, please don't cross-post on VADriven or any Non Rotary related forums.

I hope all of you can come and I hope some other farther away guys come out of the woodwork. I've always enjoyed the closeness of the Local 7 owners and it would be great to expand on that.

I am good both weekends with a good running car so I'll be there, once we set a date Jorge will take off work and join us too. See you there, I might still have parts by then to sell that I'll bring.

I voted and am only able to attend on the 9th. The weekend of the 23rd is Bike Fest at MIR which I will be racing at.

 

I was not aware they raced bicycles at MIR

 

It is a whole motorcycle event with bike show, racing, bikini contest and plenty of vendors and beer.

 

There are CDC events both days... but the one on the 23rd is in woodbridge so I might be able to stop by, but not in the 7.

 

Damn. I've been so busy I didn't even think to check the CDC schedule. Maybe the 9th will win and I can attend on the 23rd.

I voted once for the 9th, but i could have voted again for the 23rd. I just lost a turbo and I am trying to get one by friday so I can roll out sat if I have to and autox sunday

 

^^^But you need saturday for turbo install so it should be on the 23rd and we can both go out there.

 

Oh well. Lets make it the 23rd. Looks like the turnout is going to be us. If more poeple don't chime in then we can play it by ear and maybe hit the AutoX close to here and hang out afterwards if thats cool with everyone.

Of course not. I have to hold my permit for about 2 more weeks then I can go take my test for the license.

 

are we talking drivers license or motorcycle license?

 

For my motorcycle license. I only have my motorcycle permit and by VA law you have to hold that for 30 days before you can get the "M" stamped on your license.

That was my plan at first but that is a long tragic story. I assume you are talking about the Apex Cycle Education course.

 

probably something similar at the community college up the street. You also get a discount on your motorcycle insurance...
