Mike, I'll roll your fenders with my jack handle again. SRSLY, the guy that runs Slideways will rent you his fender roller, or if you go to his house he might do it for cheaper. He's in Fairfax City.

Just an FYI for those who don't already know, the CDC event is at Hylton HS here in Woodbridge on the 14th of this month.

My car is probably leaking too much oil to pass tech, but I've almost got all the parts to start on my 6-port turbo setup.

I'll be running a BW S366 850/1600 and a Microtech when it's all done. Hoepfully with a V-mount. If you want to help me speed it up, buy parts from my parts car.

My rear fenders are already rolled. I rolled them with my jack handle and a 5 lb sledge It might need a bit more massaging though... I really just want to get wider fenders so I can run 315s

You need to come out to some WDCR events at fedex when your car is done

Time to cut and get some fender flares!

Sounds good man, I plan on hitting it hard when the car is back together. I'll be the guy having a hard time keeping it straight with excessive steering angle that gets asked not to come back!

I will have a fender roller after next week if you need to pull them out some more.

How tall are you again? If you can fit in my car you are welcome to drive it at the Hylton CDC while yours is down. I just haven't located any Fb seat rails yet so I cant make it adjustable

Cool, I'll let you know. I have a race this Sunday so I'm going to try to massage it a bit more with a baseball bat and see what I can do. The new rear springs should help a decent amount too.

What I usually do with the fenders is heat them and pull the bottom lip outwards and then pull the fenders while still heating the fender.

If you can't find any rails from a FB, ones from a FC should work as well.

On my FC's seat I'm using stock seat rails with 1/4" steel bars running across them which my seat is bottom mounted to. Your seat might not have bottom mounts though.

on my corolla I have a wedge engineering bracket. with no sliders, but I could bolt a sparco slider onto it if I wanted. but then it would be too high...

Ian had a sparco slider lying around last time I talked to him.

Hey guys,

I am looking for a set of factory motor mounts for my s4 FC to buy/borrow. I need a set to seat my engine correctly before we install the after market ones.

Hey everyone. I'm looking around for an FD to build for a good price. Rollers wanted but a full car with a blow engine works too.

I video from the last WDCR Autocross of the year at FedEx yesterday, I didn't have my suction cup camera mount so I had to use my helmet mount.

There is a fun drift at about 0:30

Won my class and won the season championship, but most of the fast guys in my class weren't there.

Here are the results:

over the winter I'll be making myself some down force so it should get interesting next year

Good job Mike, any chance you'll show your face at a CDC event before the year is out?

Thanks. The car starts about 50% of the time after changing the route of my starter wires. But I had to switch my CAS back to the old once since the new one wouldn't idle when I was trying to time it. I opened it up and it was all rusty. I'll have to make a trip to crazy rays to try to find a decently clean one, they usually have FCs around.

haha yeah... I plan to. Not sure when though. Rallycross is starting back up again now and I'm going to go to some national events including the national championship in Oklahoma. But I do have a bunch of free autocross coupons I got from last year's small bore championship so I need to go at least a few times I'll have to try to get the wife to come out and autocross so I can make it a family event

I did go. It was overcast most of the day, but no rain. There were some serious cars there, both in the show and on the drag strip. I think a FC did 1/4 mile in 7.43 secs. A coulple of stock-looking FDs were under 10. The cars to remember from the show: a real nice veilside FD, RHD FD from Japan, Turbo FC Vert (super clean), and a couple FBs with some nice body work, and some nice RX-3s. The RX-8s were all pretty blah. You should check out the pics thread.

The drive up was nice, some areas where we got to push it. The drive back couldn't have been any worse, stupid NJ turnpike traffic.
