Word! Let me know on that front clip. Mine is coming along nicely. As far as getting it running, all I'm missing is the engine, trans, and diff. The exterior is pretty much done and I will be painting soon. Interior is missing a few pieces, but I'll worry about those later. Then I'll need some wheels and I'm set! I hope to have this thing driving by summer.

Which ecu are you gonna use on your sister's engine? I think twins will make that FB the perfect street car.

Hayseed, those gauges look great.

I remember when me and Andy picked her up from you. I didnt think I would ever sell her. Here I thought it was going to a safe home because they guy already had a clean rx7. Funny part is he still goes around saying he fixed the car.

Yeah he says he was the one who fixed everything on the car. I wonder if that includes drilling the shine auto kit for a rivet fit? Haha.

That sucks man... Glad you're alright. Bike crashes are like my biggest fear. Yea dude, that guy got a ******* deal on that car.
I'm still ****** with these cars. Sold the FC and started building up an FD roller. You ever plan on playing with rotaries again?

Lol, if you google slammed FC, your old car is one of the first ones to pop up.

Anybody interested in helping me get this damn car running? Sean has been over and was super helpful but I know he's super busy. I'd be willing to pay what I can to have someone sort this car out with me, if that doesn't sound too desperate lol

Oh damn!!! Haha there's nothing wrong with that. I've driven a few Fits and I may sound stupid, but they were actually kinda fun. I wouldn't mind flossin' one for a DD. They **** **** up when it comes to gas mileage and insurance.

I just got my caliper rebuild kits in, later 2day I am going to order hp pads and rotors(probably from tirerack). I put new tie rods on b/c the ones that were on it were chewed up from the owner before me, using a pipe wrench to adjust them. I need to dial in the front just a little bit. I cant wait to meet up and race again! hopefully I will be able to make it to all the events this season!

Which pads are you planning to buy? I've got the HP+'s front/rear on my car and feel like they are a little too aggressive for autocross. They don't quite have the modulation I'd like, probably due to the car being so light.

My next set will probably be HPS'.

Steve, I am looking at the hp plus pads but they are not in stock so I am waiting for a call back, maybe I should get the ones right below the hp plus, I think the hp plus ones say track/autocross and the other ones are street/track. I dont drive the car much so, mayb i should look at ebc green pads or some other ones? What pads have u used so far on urs? I ordered rotors (poweslot) already, I think they will work fine? I hope.

Well guys I am going to the dark side. Was pulling the motor out of my FD (blew rear seal) when my uncle called me with a hook up on a ls1 with a t56. So guys my days with a rotary are over. I will post all my parts for sale in the classifieds so don't hit me up right now for parts. I'll keep everyone updated on the build and how it goes.

Just ran into a new FD rx7 owner in Rio Rancho and pointed him our way. Hopefully he will create an account and find us. He was asking for recomendations for a mechanic. I told him to ask you guys since I do all my own work. He said he drove it here from Florida with only one sleep stopever. Sounds like he will fit in just fine with us idiots!

I have no experience with EBC's as I only run Hawk pads on both the Rx7 and my DD. I feel like the HP+'s are good for a car that does more tracking with some autocross while the HPS are geared more towards a car that does strictly autocross/very few track days.

Rotors - Should be fine. Make sure the break in your pads properly by following the Hawk instructions.

What kind of brake fluid are you running?

Good luck with the build.
