I'm not going to make it to this event. I've got a massive project due next week so all my time is being dumped into that. Stephen and I are shooting for Farmington.

Just picked this little Beauty up!
Hey guys, just picked up an 85 GS 7 for 500! It needs just a few little things to get her going, has rebuilt motor with roughly 2000 miles on it and had been sitting since 04. I lubricated the Apex seals, and added some oil, coolant, and just a tiny bit of fuel since the tank had be previously drained and clean before I got it and it didn't wanna start. So I splashed some in the carb and it ran for about 10 seconds and cut off. So i found out that I need a new fuel pump. It also needs a slave cylinder and a left rear glass and front fender and bumper. Other than pretty straight and clean. If anybody would like to come and help me get this car back the way it should be please let me know as this is the first rotary that I have owned! But let me know what you guys think!!

Nice car man, like the color too. I would hit the junkyard and see if you can't find a gsl se rear end. I know last time I was there they had a couple but I don't remember what models. Anyway good luck with the car.

thanks man means alot. I'm probably gonna paint it white though lol. I've been wanting to hit up the yard but haven't got the funds right now for anything. I wanna drift it so I will need that rear end. But I wanna get some sportmax (xxr) 002 wheels for it eventually but i guess they don't fit... what do I need to do to convert them to at least a 4x100 pattern?

Yeah I know that the xxr's would fit if I had x100 or x114.3, I was wondering is the GSL-SE Front and Rears would just bolt up in place of my GS stuff?

That's a good question. Donour has been responsible for handling class numbers for the past few years, but he moved away last year. For now it's safe to assume you can run last years numbers, but I can post the question on the RGR discussion list to see if anyone knows how to handle this.

Donour is managing the number list this year until the region can come up with a long term solution. If you have his email address you can send him your requested number directly, or you can let me know and I'll send him an email. I can't remember what your number was last year.
Stephen and I are planning on going to the Saturday event. I'd like to make the Sunday event as well, but that will depend on any school assignments I have going on.
