Well I have a pair of FD REW Rotors coming in for my car here hopefully tomorrow. So I can get my car going sometime this summer. Just need to find a housing as good as mine now. Then rebuild it. Then get more parts for it that im gonna need. I'll get it going soon enough.

The FD rotors are the exact wieght and compression of the S5 13BT rotors. I thought they were a hair lighter. http://www.mazdatrix.com/faq/rotorwgt.htm

I can imagine the rats nest ransom, take your time with that ****, it will be worth it!

I get my other engine next week, so till then on hold. I might resurface my intermediate housing since there are some really strange scratches on both sides. I made a thread in the general rotary section titled "intermediate housing fubar or not". Check it out.

Hey Sean. I noticed you are getting that other engine. Are you gonna use that front s5 housing if its good? (since I didnt see it.) Just wondering cause thats the only thing I need to get now besides the rebuild kit or parts. Oh yea and whenever you have time I have the NA waterpump housing to trade. I have today, thrusday and sunday. Let me know.

No I am probably going to use the front cover on ther S4 that is on its way. Once I inspect the new cover AND if it is good you can take the S5 one.

Does anyone around here know of any machine shops that can do lapping? I might want to lap my ported side housings and really don't want to pay 280 + shipping for mazdatrix to do them.

Sunday will work to trade the water pump housings Matt. Just call me around 5 or 6 pm.

Man, I am starting to get really anxious for this rebuild!!!

I was actually asking about the rotor housing if that was any good. And since you cant mix the s4 with s5 housings. Oh yea and you think you might wanna sell the extra turbo tranny if its good also?

Wow what a busy fricking last two days. SOO........I ended up buying a assembled running ported TII engine.

I know I know, i am a ***** for not rebuilding BUT this ended up being a little cheaper then the rebuild route and saved me time and a headache I am honestly about fed up with. I had so much mixing and matching to do with the rebuilt motor. The other smoking motor coming in might have been possibly bad too from my cousins inspection through the exhaust port(cracked seal). Plus I was going to have to either port the used housings coming in or pay to get the damaged ones lapped. Then all the clearancing and tolerence measurements. Then I had the build, then the break in, then large amount of TIME it would take. Matt knows this, I barley have any freaking time. This will be so much easier: install engine, hook up Power FC, load conservative map and PRAY TO GOD SHE DOESN"T BLOW.

So the motor is the one that was for sale in the second gen section(rx7.com ported motor). I was kinda sketchy at first about the thread but called the owner and he was very professional and really a nice guy. he sent me some more pics/specs and gave me all the info I needed. We negotiated a great price!

So now I am selling parts out of my garage. If any of you guys need anything give me a shout I have quite a bit of stuff.

How is the Haltech install going dude?

Well what do you have for sale. If your getting rid of the GCC and other components like that, that I could use I'll get those from you. Since I have been looking for one for a while now. I'll be able to get them from you this weekend cause then I will actually have some money. Let me know on here or I'll give you a call or you can give me a call sometime at the end of the week.

Haltech install goes into final swing this weekend should finish her up and hopefully get some exhaust on the way so I don't burn my car down. Should be up and running in the next 3 or 4 weeks. Depending on cash flow. The whole install is really going to be much easier then I thought it would. Sat down planned it all out got my connectors etc. Sensors are all in just need to Drill and tap a new map Vac source then loom everything heatshrink and solder for a few hours. Haha I think I remember now why I quit installing huge sound in my cars. On the bright side though I don't have to do most of the fuelpump rewire haha. So if anyone wants a relay and enough wire for a rewire let me know I have it all just sitting here collecting dust. All I really need are exhaust parts.

Affirmative got some maps. I am just hoping I am not going to have to buy a new wastegate actuator. I have to wait to get some exhaust parts before I can fire it up anyway.

I am going to be at the shop most the weekend wiring so if you guys are in the area feel free to hit the buzzer. If you don't get an answer call my phone. If there is a car parked out back by the door I am most likely there but I might walk over.

Don't go to the Dyno without me. There are a couple peeps who want to from the SCCA solo so we might be able to just buy a day or something.

Haha nobody. I was at the race today where were you guys? School is pretty much kickin my *** right now. I think I have around 4 more weeks then I get a break for a month. Fall semester goes back to regular 16 week semesters instead of 8 so I won't be as busy. Anyways that aside the car should be back on the road just before that so I should be racing around then. I am going to shoot for hitting up the malmstrom event on Sunday July 27th.

I should take some pictures of the haltech install but I figure most of you will see it anyway. I think I might be a little OCD
