OLD man winter is coming very soon........

I start to tune on Tuesday so I will be down granted my maps are not to fucked up.

Matt, you have the o-ring problem. Did you make sure to follow Mazdatrix's write up on the different castings and what to use for gasket/teflon ring combo? My last engine was a freak of nature and I doubt yours is like that. You DID take off the front cover so chances are the o-ring combo was wrong.

He is talking about us meeting up for a drive and or hang out bbq thing. Well when is a good date to set up for this this meet up. Sundays at anytime or saturdays after 3pm are good for me. We should shoot for a nice day too not like today with the rain. But weekends seem like the best time for any of our meets. Maybe next saturday or sunday since it seems as if sean may have his car. And the the majority of us have ours running too. Also Im sure we will have enough passenger seats for extras that want to tag along and whatnot. So just need the confirmation from the rest of use guys on what would work. So post up and let us know.

Yes just as Matt says My cabin is in Wolf creek so it is kind of a central point I guess a little better for us Great Falls Helena Folks. There is enough room for Tents if anyone decides they need to rest before heading home etc. Or we can do it like a main meet up for everyone around and we can just meet in wolf creek take a drive and head on our way. That way we get to know each other face to face.

I don't think next weekend will be good for me or enough time to get everyone together. So lets try and figure who is going to meet up and when is good for everyone.

Meh its only a day. I am trying to make this work for everyone. November sounds a little harsh to be driving the 7's anyway so why don't we shoot for some weekend this month? Come on guys I have rode in a 7 once this year. Well I guess twice if you count starting my car and backing it out of the garage to go around the block.

Sry I have not gotten this worked out a lot sooner. I was hoping to have the car running by now but the motor is coming out and going back to my builder for a new housing and coolant o-ring recess. We will get some more stuff together in March or so and do a lot more 7 stuff. Maybe even get a club going of some sort.

So it's finally running somewhat. I can drive it but i think my TPS is messed up, i have about ~5" or so of leway with the pedal before i get any power. It still doesn't idle very good but could that have to do with my TPS?

Oh and my vacuum leak was because i was missing half of my EGR gasket lol.

This thread looks kind of dead but here goes.

I just bought my first RX-7 and brought it here to Great Falls. It runs real strong on a rebuilt motor. It's crazy fast! The guy I bought it from said they dynoed it at 7 psi and it made around 350 hp. I just found out I being laid off so this project has to go if anyone is interested...

There is a race sunday in helena at the airport. The next race in Great Falls is the following sunday at the expopark. The only requirement I can think of is you need a battery hold down. Other then that I think you will be fine.

Is this the Blue one that was on the Car Hauler down by Loaf and Jug on 9th ave?

Pictures would be nice. Price? Some way of contacting you? How much do you want for the car etc?

Food for thought.

So you are saying you have to full throttle to get any power? Timing could be an issue. Have you checked your throttle cable for slack? It could be your TPS but then it could many other things.
