We love to work on them because we love to be broke, both mechanically and pocket book wise.

Matt, give me a call (868-7115) or print out a list and post it up and I will order the parts for you bro.

Yeah, that thread was a ******* nightmare. Funny though how I posted "the problem is fine" when ironically it was the problem that killed my engine. I knew better (that seems to be the trend with turbo rotaries, owners know better but still do the stupid act)but this has started a new path for better, faster 7.

let me know man.

Everybody else: what the hell is up?!

Matt,

Mazdatrix did NOT know the size of the o-ring. So next step is to remove the one out of your other engine and then just compare sizes to a new ring. Sorry I missed your call, working late. As for your bro's plates, ask if he can wait till the 25th. Call me if any concern.

Now I have more problems with the car. If you guys want to help that would be great. I cant really figure this problem for the life of me. It would be better understood if you listened to it. It like sputters when I hold the RPMs anywhere, its just really wierd.I know there is something wrong but just dont know what it could be exactly. I've already checked a few things like the TPS and the grounds on the engine harness for the injectors i think the 2 black wires into 1 ring. I also made sure the injector connectors were all connected too. The problem is that I work tomorrow from 12:30-8:30pm same with sunday but get off at 6:30pm and monday 12:30-8:30pm. The only days I have off are tuesday and wendesday next week. I dont know if you any of you can help out because of the schedule. But if you can then please do.

Matt

Is it a red FD? because yesterday I saw one leaving polsons hardware store or whatever. On the west side of town. Not really any shop in town that works on rotaries. Well there is but not many of us think they do a very good job. So if anything we could help you out.

Oh so you are the one who got suckered into buying that thing. I would give that thing right back to the bank. The motor is shot they said they had a new one put in wich is bs. Also your turbos are shot selenoids and all. I am going to ballpark it and to get that thing running you are going to need a complete rebuild of the motor if the housing are even useable. Tranny shifter bushings clutch etc. I would dump that thing and run. If not you have a hell of a project on your hands. This is the one that Russel Country sold isn't it? Well either way if its randys or the russell one.

There will be no help as far as work on that car you will have to do it yourself. We will have to meet up or something. You need everything fella. I wish you would have come on the forum before you bought it I would have suggested you run far far away from it. You are going to be upwards around $10,000 just to get the motor and Turbos back up and running right. I was very excited about this car untill i drove it. You sir have an adventure in patience on your hands. If you would like to discuss your options more I can help you out with places to either get a new Mazda Reman here in town or you can go the route of trying to rebuild yours in wich i doubt is any good.

We can get ya straightened out. The work is not big deal a few of us have the workspace tools and know how. I just hope you have lots of money....

Let us know what your goals are for the car and we can help ya with pretty much anything you need. I am Ransom by the way.

Hello everyone, just moved to missoula this spring. Going back to minnesota in a couple of weeks to get my 88 10th AE out of storage and bring out. Can't wait, what an awsome ride. It's all original and about 70000 miles on it. I've had it since 1990.

NICE. I always wanted a 10th AE but never could find one close and or in good condition. And now that I think of it they are the fat FC. Every option emaginable it seems. But still really nice. Well settled with a Sport FC. Lightest and just what i wanted.

You can get mazda remanufactured engines in town. I think they are around $2500 to $3000 with core charge. Do yourself a favor and stay away from used and or JDM engines they are not worth your time. I would either find a builder and send them your core to see what is useable or go the Mazda Reman route. There is hope man just gonna take time patience and money.

I will be looking for a good body shop in Missoula. Need to get a few rock chips fixed as well as my seats need to be recovered. Does anybody know of a good place in Missoula that could handle the job.

Exclamation Oil cooler needed!

Any one have an extra oil cooler on hand. Mine leaks pretty bad from the big bolt on the bottom where the high oil pressure spring is located. I'd kinda like to get one that isnt leaky or where the fins are f'd.

Oh ya Elijah. Its an RX7, you invest your life into the car once you get one. HA HA. Eather that or you just kinda give up on em.
